He just needs to add some indicator fluid.
They're all addicted to other peoples money, the lot of them.
This is largely because the government should not be getting into all this stuff anyway. Therefore you get the tension between what they need to do what they're doing and what they shouldn't be needing to ask for in the first place, leading to these half-arsed compromises.
Q21: When did Social Security cards bear the legend "NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION"?
A: The first Social Security cards were issued starting in 1936, they did not have this legend. Beginning with the sixth design version of the card, issued starting in 1946, SSA added a legend to the bottom of the card reading "FOR SOCIAL SECURITY PURPOSES -- NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION." This legend was removed as part of the design changes for the 18th version of the card, issued beginning in 1972. The legend has not been on any new cards issued since 1972.
Feeling old?
Unfortunately the motofone is dual band so you have to pick which you use. Most are of the European frequencies but US frequency models are available from what I've seen. I bought mine while I was visiting the UK and was hoping it would be quad band. I still keep it around for the occasional visit.
Easy, they are not taxing the miles you've driven, only the change in your odometer.
(Sophistry yes but not out of line with some of the other mental hoops other things the government does are based on).
Hah, wow. Have you ever actually been poor? This is exactly the kind of mentality the GP was talking about.
Having wealth gives you options, including the options to take steps that will give you even more wealth. Being poor means you rent whatever you can and take the windows that come with it and hope you can keep your car on the road for the next months and cross your fingers that you don't run over a nail because even a new tire would mean you don't get electricity next month (and then somehow have to find the money for the reconnect fee).
The left are delusional about what actually benefits the poor (though many of the right are too).
Interesting. Several people I know have lost all their bees and they live in more rural areas. I live in a semi-urban area and my hive is thriving. This is purely anecdotal though, of course.
Course, the only reason Vegas exists is because governments like to interfere in voluntary interactions between individuals (gambling).
Georgia actually has its own water issues.
The Pet was my first experience with networking. All the Pets in the room were connected to the same printer with Centronics cables (each plugged into the back of another). The printer was written to by outputting a byte to a port. I decided to see if it was possible to read the port and see the bytes that were being written by one of the other computers and it was.
Of course, "real" networking was already around by then but I thought it was cool.
This has been happening since at least a year ago. There's nothing at all about this story that raises it to the level of "news"
Satellite really isn't all that bad for some methods of working. It's the latency that's the problem so if you need to RDP or VOIP, you're out of luck. If you can work locally and upload/download asynchronously, you're probably in good shape.
A lot of the problem is modern workflow practices are geared to fast, low latency networks.
Hats off to you.
