This scheme works by buying dollars with bitcoins. How is that any different from buying dollars with pesos? The value of the bitcoin is pegged to the dollar. The value of the peso is pegged to the dollar. Until bitcoin replaces the dollar as the world's standard currency, all this scheme does is circumvent some government rules. It certainly doesn't disrupt anything, any more than not reporting income disrupts anything.

The only thing they're "grappling" with is how to continue unlimited spying while convincing you they're respecting your privacy.

You left out the biggest hurdle of all, the cost. The camera, the lenses, the software, and then of course you have to buy a higher-res monitor, and then possibly a more powerful computer. And possibly a printer.

In the McCarthy era a poll quoted the Bill of Rights and people said it was Communist propaganda. This is a symptom of the failure of the US education system. It has nothing to do with people being stupid or not stupid. This is stuff you're supposed to learn in school and if people didn't, it's because the schools suck.

All employees are disposable, and always have been. Companies exist not to provide jobs but to provide profits for their owners. And they are not stupid. If churning employees didn't produce higher profits, it wouldn't happen. They have the data--if fact, you probably help them gather it.
