Military Personnel Weigh In On Being Taliban In Medal of Honor 171

SSDNINJA writes "This is a feature from gamrFeed that interviews nine US service members about playing as the Taliban in the upcoming Medal of Honor. One soldier states that games like MoH and Call of Duty are 'profiteering from war.' Another says, 'Honestly, I don't really see what the whole fuss is about. It's a game, and just like in Call of Duty, you don't really care about what side you're taking, just as long as you win. I don't think anyone cares if you're part of the Rangers or Spetznaz, as long as you win.' An excellent and interesting read."

So, I'm curious. Have your views changed since the 2004 post that set that off?

Not really, no. I use that account for next to nothing aside from signing up for various forums and whatnot. Very few people use it as a primary contact for me and, the funny thing is, even with all that posting of the address I get relatively little spam. Again, I think that there probably are people out there who were getting (and maybe still get) several hundred bogus messages a day. Well, ok, that might suck. But life might just be a little too short to get that worked up over it. For the most part, though, I bet that most of the people who complain the loudest about spam get less than fifty a day and the part them makes them unhappy is that is all the mail they get.

I think AC is the one that really did it with his mailto: link. But yeah, that's pretty much a dick move... while at the same time being pretty hilarious. It's the same reaction I have when one friend hits another in the nuts. By the way... what's the capital of Thailand?

I don't know, what is the capital of Thailand? .......... OW!

Does this mean that someday /. will actually render properly in a browser? I used IE, FF, Opera, and Safari all regularly. /. does not reneder 100% in any of them :(

How do you know that one of them isn't proper and the rest are merely deviations from proper? Or, more accurately, how do you know what it is supposed to look like if you say they are all wrong?
