Submission + - Opera 9 Implements True Push Event Model

patro writes: Opera 9 implements Server-Side Events, so that the client doesn't have to continuously poll the server for updates. The event model is according to the WHATWG Web Applications 1.0 specification. As an example a chat room has been implemented, but the possibilites are limitless.
