NASA announced Monday it will establish an international base camp on one of the moon's poles, permanently staffing it by 2024, four years after astronauts return to the moon.

From the article, 'But in tests on 20 cards from Visa, MasterCard and American Express, the researchers here found that the cardholder's name and other data was being transmitted without encryption and in plain text. They could skim and store the information from a card with a device the size of a couple of paperback books.'

Will this spawn a whole new branch of wardriving?"

FTA, "President Bush has signed a new National Space Policy that rejects future arms-control agreements that might limit U.S. flexibility in space and asserts a right to deny access to space to anyone 'hostile to U.S. interests.'"

So how does the U.S. protect national security in space without... weapons? Is this the new arms race?"

Will Sony become the new Sega? That is, will the PS3 lose out to a far less advanced system? Will the WiiMote crush prettier versions of Liberty City? 'While it's still too soon to tell which console will win the Wii vs. PS3 smack down, it wouldn't hurt Sony to take a lesson from Sega's rulebook: Start listening to your fans, stop dictating to them.'"
