Those wimpy environ-liberals are so weak they fear being irradiated by exploding rockets. Where is the fun in that. I look forward to having three eyes and a tail.
Battery swaps eliminates the cost from replacing your batteries every 10 (?) years. But then again, i guess the cost would be amortized into every swap you do.
Just like video rental stores successfully did the same thing.
'gas stations' will still have a role for rapid charging but yes, most charging would be trickle charging. If you are travelling long distance, have a problem with your charging at home, are staying at a house without trickle charging etc etc, then there will always be exceptions. And gas stations will still sell petrol, diesel, natural gas etc. But i would expect there will be a lot less of them and they will need to change their business model.
Plenty of innocent people in jail.
Searching for the list probably gets you on the list.
Except global temperatures have not plateaued and continue to rise. The rate of the rise changes but it is continuing to rise. The "plateau" is only spin using a very crude line from a peak in 1998. http://www.skepticalscience.co...
The warming cannot be explained by an inter-glacial. Dumping millions of years of stored carbon into the upper atmosphere is not surprisingly having an effect on the climate. Land use changes, clear felling, road and city concreting do not help either.
This study is going to help refine the calculations of where heat is stored and how it changes over time but don't delude yourself that this is not related to human activity. Even most deniers have stopped denying that.
Mars must have been a very boring place.
You've been around forever. I remember Anonymous Coward from many many years ago. Was always surprised that they let you get that username.
And it is thought that the water on earth did not all come from comets, as there is too much for that to happen. They now think that it came from processes within the earth itself. So the basic ideas are still changing.
I think it is distribution rights, copyright rights. Netflix would have to pay the right entities so you could watch that movie
such as by effectively killing the NBN which would provide a high speed network allowing people to stream TV, movies etc in 4K, thereby rendering Foxtel unneeded.
Not sure why you all are just finding problems with it.
I know you are joking but one interesting point on CO2 removal is that the problem is CO2 in the upper atmosphere which provides a "blanket" over us all. Lowering CO2 in the lower atmosphere will be helpful longterm but will not actually solve the CO2 problem for a long time. Upper atmosphere CO2 stays there for hundreds of years. Which is why we need to working on solutions today.
