I realize it could put certain individuals in harms way (hopefully any such names were redacted before the dump), but I hope Wikileaks keep this up. There's far too much secrecy going on around the world. It's all one big self-fulfilling prophecy in which nobody trusts each other and everybody is forced to keep a gun under the table. Anyone that is angry about this for nationalistic reason is a tool. Of course, these leaks could be baloney psy-ops, which is real a possibility. That's a scary scenario and in the complete opposite direction of what it's presenting itself as.

Too big to fail... I think that's a load of BS. Businesses come and go. We're supposed to be a mobile workforce. It's not the end of the world to have to find a new job (unless unemployment keeps getting stomped on). If BP has been meeting some level of demand and then suddenly went away, wouldn't that would create new jobs elsewhere as new and existing entities try to fill the demand gap?

So you think this is about you (the end-user)? This is about corporations capturing the internet and creating monopolies. The haves are always hard at work stifling any avenues of upward mobility. It's still relatively easy for a group of nobodies to create the next internet sensation. That's no good.

We're in debt because taxes have been cut far too drastically over the last couple decades. Wealthy people have been buying their way into office, cutting taxes and then acting all surprised when there's not enough money to pay for even the most basic public services. Their solution, of course? Cut services. Fuck the tired and poor - we got ours. High taxes made the U.S. what it is (social security, interstates, medicare, space ships).

They would put an end to recording devices in public just to win one stupid case against a kid on a bike. And what about that redneck cop that bursts out with a gun and no identification? I hope he gets canned? No mention.
