The only insurance that is required by law in any state I've lived in is liability, i.e. if I fuck up other people's shit or lives, I have some ability to see to it they are compensated. The only time I've been required to carry insurance that compensates for the damage to my car is if I financed it and I still owe money on it, and it's the (private) lender doing that, and understandably so.

You can get away with it if you consistently have one character that gets 1st person (generally your protagonist), with other sections/chapters in 3rd person, especially if the protagonist isn't present. The one that bothers me though is a wandering POV. I'm in character A's head, oh now I'm in character B's head two paragraphs (and no section/chapter break) either. Frank Herbert pulled that off occasionally, but most people trying to emulate that style fall on their faces.

The GP should say "publicly traded corporations" not just corporations in general. Being a private corporation, it can be run pretty much by whatever mandate the owner(s) want to, as long as what is done is not otherwise illegal. Newegg is privately held.

What sort of thinking would lead to the idea of banning sunscreen in the first place? With some people having a genetic propensity to things like skin cancer (my wife's family, and therefore MY son included in that), I'd tell them to fuck right off with their sunscreen ban.
