So when it happened, those two 'states' asked Russia to protect them, and Russia acknowledged the call. And the main war is still happening in that area, with bombardments of Kyiv because that's where the Ukraine high command is stationed, just like in WW2 when UK/US bombarded cities in germany far away from the actual frontline. People seem to think it was all peaceful there before Russia 'invaded' Ukraine, but it was far from it. Since the fall of the USSR it has been a mess in that area of the Ukraine, even the downed commercial airliner MH-17 years before the 'invasion' was a result of that turmoil. Those people where more russian than Ukraine, and didn't want to be governed by the highly corrupted government in Kyiv. Let's not also forget Ukraine was known as one of the most corrupt nations of Europe. Ofcourse Russia had ulterior motives, just like the US when they invade Iraq based on a big lie.

It's a shame if they scale back. It was only the width that I thought was very small, should at least have been 500m or even a 1km. But having a city as one big line was a great idea, especially in a place like that, building such a large city in the desert like that is a challenge and would have been a great experience for the future were harsher climate will be a fact.

There still are many old series not in HD (or even real DVD-quality) on certain streamingservices. I love many of the old shows like the original Kojak or Streets of San Francisco and many of the 80's series like Cagney & Lacey, Hill street Blues or Airwolf. Yeah some are maybe cheasy, like CHiPs, but still a lot of fun. I watch a lot of those older shows as last time I saw them as a kid, so I remember not much when I rewatch them, or shows like Miami Vice which I didn't see all seasons back in the days. The most annoying is, if nit all seasons are available on the streamingservice, like skyshowtime only having 1 season of the A-team, magnus (original), buck rogers, missing a lot of the newer tv movies of columbo, so I don't even start watching it on that crappy service, those shows are old so should be completely available, luckily Prime Video did have all the seasons of The A-team.
