Just because it's music to thier ears, doesn't make it music suitable for all. If you knew everytime the phone rang it was someone wanting to pay you, that can certainly be a beautiful sound. But at some point it can get over whelming or the novelty can wear off. You'll pass off having to experience the phone ringing, when able, at that point.

What if the music is all an illusion Mr. Nietzsche? Indeed, they are insane.

Learn to speak for yourself and see how alone with your thoughts you are. There is no doubt being exposed to porn and other things as a child was detrimental to my health. And to assert otherwise is shortsighted, at the least, as is much of your post constructed from your observations.

You will never gain any benefits from spiritualism because you think it is phoney although billions disagree. The beautiful part is that it is hidden from you, because you don't deserve it. You sling mud over everything and think that take should be set aside (made holy) and considered as truth (the gospel). You're so ugly, you're cute.

Driver is a working-class job. Heck, airline pilot making $300k is a working class job. The difference between working class and middle class is not what the job pays, but the nature of the work.

Negative, the difference in class is your lifestyle. In referring to economics however, class is mostly about income, not what you do. If you make 20k as a manager, then you won't be able to afford a middle class location and lifestyle. If you drive a truck and make +100k then you certainly will if you don't blow your money.

Submission + - Why the Air Force is investigating a cyber attack from the Navy (militarytimes.com)

Zorro writes: The Air Force is investigating the Navy for a cyber intrusion into its network, according to a memo obtained by Military Times.

The bizarre turn of events stems from a decision by a Navy prosecutor to embed hidden tracking software into emails sent to defense attorneys, including one Air Force lawyer, involved in a high-profile war-crimes case of a Navy SEAL in San Diego.

The tracking device was an attempt to find out who was leaking information to the editor of Navy Times, a sister publication. A similar tracking device was also sent to Carl Prine, the Navy Times editor, who has written numerous stories about the case.

Submission + - Why does Apple online tech support never work? (apple.com)

fibrewire writes: I know I'm not alone, but every time I try to connect to Apple chat to dispute a charge or request information, i get a generic 403 forbidden message. Who else out there runs into this on a regular basis? I can't imagine a world where one can be worth a Trillion USD and still have basic issues like "someone forgot to fix this problem central to all support operations"

Submission + - Your Data, Controlled my You? Microsoft Office won't take no for an answer. 4

pefisher writes: Every time I open a Microsoft Office application, I am met with a splash screen that says "Your Data, Controlled by You." I am then asked "Do you want optional data about Office sent to Microsoft"? Each time, I answer "no". Then when I open the application again, I am asked the same question. This occurs again and again in Excel and Word. I feel like this must be related to their eventual desire to force us to Microsoft 365. After all, if I feel uncomfortable about usage data, I will probably feel uncomfortable using an online application and storing my data on their cloud. (Which won't happen this century, if I have anything to say about it.) Has anyone figured out how to get Microsoft to quit asking this question? Will they ever accept "no" for an answer? Is this just their way of telling me it will be their way or the highway?

I hear you. But ordering the whole website shutdown is judicial overreach, plain and simple, for just one claim. I hope they appeal and win on free speech grounds. And you know, sometimes stuff happens that prevents your appearance in court. That doesn't mean your website should be shutdown because one or even a multitude of things are incorrect, no more than a car failing inspection for multiple things should just be taken to the scrap yard instead of addressing the issues. This is throwing the baby out with the bath water.

No sir, you're looking for potatoes on the side. The beef is out there. I mean, if the Democratic party has bias against it's own candidates (Bernie Sanders) and with shadow banning becoming more rampant you really think all this smoke means there is no fire? To be fair, the American people have been conditioned to be part of the problem, and I often see things on FB like, "White people don't let your president get your ass whooped!" When called out I was told it was "a joke". Just imagine if one had written, "Black people, don't let your president get your ass whooped." in reference to President Obama. I wouldn't write tripe like that, but if I did, I'd lose a lot of FB friends overnight.

Submission + - Supreme Court Rules Against Apple (wired.com)

CoolDiscoRex writes: ON MONDAY, THE Supreme Court of the United States voted to allow a years-long antitrust case against Apple to move forward, despite Apple's objections. The case, Apple Inc. v. Pepper, concerns a group of iPhone users who accuse Apple of driving up the price of apps by charging third-party app developers a 30 percent commission.
