What is this? Sounds like Greenwashing of CC by Bill Gates. What happened to his work on Nuclear energy?

Yes, but can people not fork the last BSD licensed version and stop contributing to the now proprietary version?
The article says two groups are doing just that.
At least two groups are already doing that. AWS ElasticCache is an earlier fork of Redis. It's later on in the article.
The question is, will there be enough outside developers to keep these forks alive? Is Redis going to lose enough outside developer support that they rescind their decision?
And I'm out of mod points at the moment. Yes, this.
Not any more. iPhone 15 came out last fall, and uses the same USB-C connector as most (all?) android phones. And your charging brick has a USB A or USB C socket, so all you need is a new cable.
Yes, it was so unfair of Apple to produce a product that people wanted more than Amazon's product. They needed to make crap like everyone else.
I held onto a crap dying HTC Droid Incredible for an extra six months so I could replace it with an Apple iPhone 5 on Verizon. There's a reason why I gave up a Sudoku game I really liked and switched to Apple. And stayed there through three (and in the fall, a fourth) replacement.
22 1/2 years ago I moved, and went from 56K dial-up to 3 Mbps Cable. The new place also had DSL as an option; the old place had neither.
and 55% Hispanic.
This is mostly due to english as a second language.
[Citation needed] that the ~45% of Hispanic college attendees do not complete because English isn't their first language.
Why does the same result not occur for Asians whose first language is also not English? Just single parenthood?
Yes.

Back in the day, Disney had a rainbow celebration day at their theme park in Orlando FL. One of the Virginia-based evangelicals, either Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson, said God would punish Disney for such sin, with tornadoes, or earthquakes, or hurricanes. The very next hurricane headed ashore in Virginia. I took that to indicate divine displeasure with self-serving leaders of Evangelical churches.
Oh, that's all, is it.
Yep, you're right 1 hour max
Browsers are the most insecure attack surface of any aspect of modern computers. Apple's s/w is built using standard engineering decision-making - can we rely on X being there ? Why yes we can, so we can delegate this function to that system framework which we've tested is all secure.
Except that all breaks down when someone installs a 3rd party browser. Now the security model of the system depends on the security model of the installed browser, and that's just not acceptable. It may be the user's fault that they installed but you can guarantee that Apple will be holding the can at the end of any argument over why their nudes are now all over the internet.
Here's the rub: turning the combustion end products (CO2 and H2O) back into hydrocarbons takes more energy than burning the fuel produced, especially if you burn it to run a heat engine.
appropriating the name of the entire continent for themselves, right?
Wait... there's a continent named simply "America"?
Built-in optical drives are done. But Apple still offers an external optical drive: https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD564LL/A/apple-usb-superdrive
I got one of those in 2013 for my optical-drive-less MacBook Pro, and it still works fine on my Mac Studio. I don’t use it for much other than ripping the occasional CD, though.
The NeXT had two buttons on the mouse but they both acted like a left button. There was a user option defaulting to off to enable the right button. I figured software could ignore this, I was wrong the buttons were made identical deep in the OS. Steve Jobs déconstruit had a hate of multiple buttons.
