I think its fast becoming a zombie apocalypse of grift as well.

I worked tech support from 91 to 04 for hundreds of users. With Windows 95 I moved from Notepad to Wordpad for quickly printing small jobs, and discovered random format type corruptions. This was an eye opener to just how bad MS software was, I advised others that they weren't crazy when they saw these errors.
Years later my daughter tried to cut text from Internet Exploder to Word, and Word crashed hard. I told her use Chrome and the problem was solved.
Seriously shitty software from MS made me switch to Linux, and now I giggle with joy that I'm free of them.
I suspect the objections (domestically and from neighboring Asian nations such as China) are either based in ignorance or they are a political ploy to gain some kind of leverage.
Political ploy to exploit ignorance, but you nailed it otherwise. The Chinese have lots of nuclear experts, so they know they're lying.
HATE the taste of mint, which makes it difficult to brush teeth
Crest makes a cinnamon paste and I think Reach makes cinnamon floss, not always easy to find.
Honestly, it seems to me like a very nice piece of science.
Good job, commentators who didn't take or pass Chemistry 101 should reflect more and comment less. I know chemistry is just stamp collecting compared to Physics, but its a start.
grandma will never learn command line flags, sorry. linux is made for programmers, but tries to capture the vast non-tech market... it cant do both. you shouldnt have to touch a terminal in 2023
Make a text / pastable list of grandma's recipe files without a command window. I may have missed it, but irs 30 years on and gui doesn't cut it. Only programmers need lists. tables of contents. or glossary's printed? Everyone has to slum the command windows sometimes on a computer, deal with it.
you can buy small metal clips that prevent a breaker from being turned off
Most of the breakers I've seen have to be turned off completely when they trip to reset them. Breakers can trip more frequently with age even below their normal limits. Idiot proofing things is hard .
You've been competing with others for the right to slave away for someone trying to profit off you, for 11 years, and you are just now realizing you're given all the consideration of a readily replaceable slave.
On slashdot the power of mod points is much less than reddittors, but it gets old after about a month.
The solution is running for office.
I think that kind of job would change you, to excel it would take years of exposure to toxic people. Maybe draft at random a matching position to vote with politicians when legislating. Like a babysitter who has not spent years getting programmed by big money. Or just replace them all with chimpanzees.
If it's a MFC then that probably won't work, and you would need an actual server.
My brother MFC laser from 2020 networks wireless just fine. When I upgraded to Mint21 the drivers just loaded themselves, Lem and friends do a great job.
In the timeline I come from, RFK was assassinated in 1968.
I'm not alone then, WTF.
During a recent Linux install I searched for a solution to an issue before I got around to installing an ad blocker in Firefox. OMG I couldn't believe how out of control ads have got.
I could have written every single word you did, you nailed it. Ads are like manure a little goes a long way, what we have now is a 40 mile high pile of shit.
