If your boss doesn't appreciate the work you do enough to keep you, chances are they don't think there is anything you know that is that important. They will replace you with a uni grad anyhow. Granted they might have pain once your gone but you still lose your job.

Wouldn't it be better to have a well documented network and the respect of your co-workers so that its easier to find new work?

If you have windows you'd need to be running NT to have PDC on your network - so I'd be more concerned about that being on your references. If you have windows 2000/2003 you can't have a local admin password on a domain controller, but it would be good to store the enterprise admin and directory services restore password some place. Server 2008 allows you to have local admin access.

I'd never watched Star Trek, so my nerd bf took me to see it with his friends. I have to say - it was snoreworthy. I really didn't like anything about it :| But the guys I went with said it was pretty good, and they liked that is was pretty true to the original series. Maybe it was the constantly half naked Hugh Jackman, but i liked wolverine better. It seems both movies were kind of "guy" movies though. Lots of long fighting scenes, zzzZZzzzz :P

And future employers will appreciate that you can come in, tidy things up and document them so that when you want to take a holiday someone can fumble their way though what needs to be done. I document everything I do and happily teach the support guys etc whatever they are keen to learn, and yeah, I've been replaced by one of them on occasion. But when i look back I'm glad I don't work for those tight ass bosses any more. As an added bonus everyone else I worked with gives me glowing references and referrals because they respected me. You can make yourself valuable without withholding knowledge.
