Comment Re:People are sick of the lockdowns -- Science? (Score 1) 300

The Internet War against the US has been going on since at least 2009. Social media has been weaponized. We’re badly losing this war that hasn’t even been declared— to the point that most people don’t realize it’s happening. The US military taught the world in Vietnam and Iraq that asymmetric warfare is the only viable way to win against the US. While we were busy spending trillions on next generation fighters and robots, the enemy was spending millions on troll farms and bots to dominate the battle spaces of Twitter and Facebook.

That's exactly what they did in the VA "study" though. The "treatment" arm was basically dying patients that would die no matter what.

Bullshit. This is where you'd provide a citation supporting your assertion if you had one, but we both know you're talking out your ass, repeating Fox and Orange Cheeto talking points.

But perhaps I've judged you too quickly. Here's the study: https://www.medrxiv.org/conten.... Go ahead, please show me where it says they gave HCQ to sicker people.

I'll help: There is NOTHING in that study that identifies individual patients or their condition when selected into the study. There couldn't be, because that would be a violation of HIPAA. Anyone who repeats this bullshit claim is full of shit; they would have no possible way of knowing the state of the VA patients unless they were somehow able to access private medical records.

But what you conveniently left out of your little blame-the-Democrats game is the political realignment that began in 1964, then the parties basically switched their platforms. The people who passed this law were Republicans in policy, even if not all of them were that in name yet.

It was their strategy to kill Social Security. Not "pay for social programs" -- and I note, you don't supply a shred of evidence to support this assertion. Decades later, they would do something similar to kill the USPS -- pass a law requiring them to fund their pensions 75 years in advance.

Yes, but only the most clueless of morons would think this could, or should be done for free. The act of public service is donating countless hours to engineer and re-tool for a product that's not in their wheelhouse. Doing it for free would be detrimental to the company's health, and that doesn't help anybody.
