I don't want to have to compete against other developers who can implement things I can't implement, because they are willing to stay up for three weeks reverse-engineering some undocumented interface.
You don't want to compete with people who put in more effort into coding their apps than you?
.....what?
Or get passwords and plaster their Myspace / Facebook / social networking accounts with Homosexual content.
* Look, Internet! Now I can communicate broadly.

I took the reference you were talking about as they are advanced in their own way, and aren't concerned in the way of the race invading them.
Because the humans use technology and get destroyed, that doesn't mean that its anti-technology.

RFC 2323 May be what he is talking about. (Was going to RTFA but sleep sounds like a better choice for me)
As for my RFC reading, i only read the April 1 ones, they seem to be the best for on the can reading
One thing that annoys me though is i have a pretty set job description of "Web developer" But people always ask me "So you fix computers?". But i'm not that fussed, especially when i live in a place where the biggest business is cattle.
Oh and Kdawson, don't call Windows "Windoze" and then complain about being called IT.

This is a huge amount of FUD. i believe newgrounds struck this problem back in early days of flash 6? They host all their flash on a foreign server to the actual newgrounds server to combat this. i dunno how successful their methods are, but every time i went to newgrounds, i didnt see it hacked.
Its an old bug, but its a dam commonsence issue. Youre uploading someone elses data, you should be carefull.
It takes me a grand total of 15 seconds to get a flash movie. its as easy as typing into google "download youtube videos", copy and paste a link and then click a button.
I haven't seen a HTML 5 page with a video i want to keep to try pulling it out, but I believe someone will come along and make a one click solution to this, and fill it with ads.
