1. Search the web with DuckDuckGo. It is every bit as good, but no spying. There is NO REASON not to use this instead!

I have DDG as my default search engine on all my browsers and devices.

That said, I have to repeat almost 2/3 of my searches on Google, because DDG's results are sub-par for non-trivial queries.

I said before and will say it against. Incognito mode was invented as an anti trust monopolistic thing to kill other adveritisers. Incog mode basically makes everyone start from scratch in building a profile of the user, and G has a SERIOUS advantage here, which means they will win the ad money. It has nothing to do with privacy of the user.

Private browsing was introduced by Apple's Safari in April 2005, three and a half years before Google "invented" it (reference).

When copyright laws were being introduced, the length of the copyright term was set to 14 years, required registration, and infringement was a civil matter.

Due to Disney machinations, the term has been retroactively extended until it now stands at life of author + 70 years -- an order of magnitude increase, and infringement is now a criminal matter, with penalties harsher than for violent crimes. All done to keep the Mouse out of the public domain, where it should rightfully belong by now.

Disney and its ilk have taken from society way more than all the past and future "pirates" combined can.
