So I'm seeing A LOT of content being posted that's behind subscripting services. This WSJ article, NYT and Financial Times and others. Can we please stop posting any thing that links to a paywalled article? Otherwise it really feels like
It is possible to annoy YouTube by harassing the content creators, the very content that YouTube relies on to deal ads.
If there were a concerted effort to downvote/ dislike every video that won't play because ad blockers are blocked, then the content creators would see the trend and move on to other video sites. YouTube would have to respond
I wonder if the content creators already see negative impact on their video views due to ad blockers being blocked.
lol, yea, lets make the site looks like a 404 page and hide the content below the ad, yea that'll be cool
There was nothing about the original Net Neutrality regulation that opened the internet and made access more equal. The whole scheme is about allowing the FCC to regulate the content of the internet and giving government more power to try and regulate speech on the internet. It's about trying to do to the internet what they did to the airwaves.
That was entertaining, LOL she certainly has a love hate relationship with home automation and those who use such things.

Today's Unity story might be a follow-up on yesterday's story, "Unity Says 'We Apologize,' Promises Changes to Previously-Announced Pricing".
Two front page Unity stories in less than 24 hours almost made me skip the 'dupe'.
Kind of useless actually.
It's a university research project. It isn't supposed to be useful.
They why is it a "World Record for EV distance"? With self selected parameters like 170 kg and extremely low drag and no driver it's not an EV, it's a test platform at best. Comparing it to any actual EV is ridiculous. The real story is the motor and components. The drag confident is meaningless at this scale. I'd rather see standardization on using a 1 x 2 meter box with 4 wheels as the test bed for the motor and controller tech.

Pun appreciated but I don't think yRTFA. While not half 47% of Democrats is a very depressing number. It's obvious the divide is not left/right. All those that want the ban are conservative in their social views and unable to deal with desperate points of view.
Difficult to grasp how anyone things your comment is an insightful. At best it's simple authoritarianism just like those what want to ban TicToc in the first place. It also shows a complete lack of understanding of security. The well being of your employees is significantly important and pissing them off is a sure way to end up with a security breach.
That's the real news here. That so many on this board think it's quite grand that the Government should have free rein to define what "harm" on the whims of the mob. They all want anti-vaxers silenced but have no problem letting the misinformation of anti-GMO nonsense prevail. Jail the Climate Deniers because they are going to flood NYC because of their Denialism. Government can not be allowed to prevent speech because someone else thinks it's harmful. Right Christians and Left Feminists all think children are being scooped up into underground porn exploitation all because of Twitter. They say it's pervasive without providing any backing documentation. It's the fucking Satanic Panic and Moral Majority all over again.
You could mail-order a WWII Sten submachine gun from an add in the back of a magazine in the 1970's for less than $20 (about $160US today). No license no registration.Gun violence is actually lower today then back then even so there weren't mass killings using submachine guns back then either.
