Read some of report. When one table shows over half of respondents consider searching the internet "CS" we can ignore the stuff about populations being under-represented in actual CS. This is a basic teaching fail. We're not even at "why aren't they interested", rather "what is it."

A little off topic, but this group should relate. Parents of spectrum kids are especially hard hit. One by the loss of aides etc. The other the loss of their away time. What might be the best for picked on kids gets pushed, from all I've seen, to primarily moms. Then, instead of the parents adapting learning to their spectrum kids, they are trying to make their kids learn the existing curriculum via zoom.

I'd argue that the Polynesians (Easter island) and the Columbus era explorers, heading into the unknown, were more brave than future Martians who have risk quantified a priori. Not sure if I'd give the Nordic explorers the same kudos as they were island hopping.

Market has spoken. Was old enough to see Europe pre EU. Was excited to see a United States of Europe. What happened was socialism failed to create value the stock market cares about. Not judging if that's what matters tho.

For those with FIOS or other optical internet, these speeds are meh. For the rest of us, these speeds are a large 10x improvement. I'm awaiting when I can get.
