Came across a couple of articles recently here and here specifically talking about GPS interference and "dead-zones".

Curious part, is that this technology is APPROVED by the FCC. The frequencies used by LightSquared (1525 MHz—1559 MHz) is just below the GPS frequencies (1559—1610 MHz). While it SHOULDN'T interfere, the power levels used by LightSquared is much higher than the signals from satellites.

From the fine article: "Some experts think that pumping water into the ground as part of the extraction process of natural gas could cause local seismic events. But the area hasn't been studied enough, they say, to know for sure."

Another story to gin up a way to stop energy production. I really hate this "do as I say - not as I do" attitude of the people who want to stop *United States* energy production.

Where's the outrage of Cuba's oil production? China's oil production? Venezuelan oil production?

I have installed MANY of these in buildings, and if you have ANY sort of signal outside the house, down to about -90dBm, these boosters will amplify that about 60dBm, coupled with a good 5dBm indoor antenna, and 10-15dBm outdoor antenna, and you get very good signal indoors.

Yes they did run on a platform of "healthcare" reform. At the same time, over 60% of people did NOT want THIS legislation to become law. THAT is a mandate, and the Democrats did not listen to their constituency ... there will be hell to pay in November.

Just watch the Senate get bogged down by the "reconciliation" bill that was passed by the House, it'll never get passed as-is, and the House Democrats will be left out to hang.
