Last few big sci-fi blockbusters I went too had crying kids, noisy people eating, caughing. My friend who was with me told the guy to stop coughing or get it got so bad. Many people checking phones and lighting up the area. And if you live in a big city, the standing in line for an hour for an Imax, and getting in and out of the parking on the weekend. Why?! Its not relaxing at all.
The best theather solution I've seen is the more expensive recliner theaters, less people, never see kids there, reserve your seat, smaller crowd, and not in the main shopping centers, so easier to get and out of.
But really, I'd rather just rent or buy the bluray, watching it on your own big screen tv, can pause for restroom breaks, no expensive drinks and settling for the flavors they have. (No diet cherry coke in theaters, really?)
Whats really annoying, I'd pay full price to watch it at home on release day, but no, they want you to goto the theaters. They lose money, I'll redbox it or torrent due to hollywoods bad business model.
Makes sense, Milk has already been deemed another racist symbol.
Rather amusing, their slogan is Never Settle when they removed the headphone jack.
At work, I support clearcase, doors, doors ng, jazz, etc for our engineering departments. My god the bugs that even ibm cant fix. Jazz let go of their main devs and have in some cases 1 person who knows the code.
IBM is a shit show for their produts, they aquire and fire, dont ever use IBM. I'm very sad that Redhat is now owned by IBM.
That movie never made it big, but the acting, the cast, the scenes, the cinematography is really good.
Plus, its a love story.
I've seen interns being treated so unfairly, because they are not employees they are given horrible busy work, degrading work.
How much of the bad bosses is it gender related, or just normal abuse?
And even in larger fortune 500 companies, we have had tons of women interns, they got treated the same as men, the bosses dumped on them too.
I'm so tired of logging into network/server hardware all day and both firefox and chrome bitch about certs and give me no way to "permanently accept" certificates.
Make them secure, but stop stripping out my choices to remember settings. Make a special setting, but stop removing features!
Court records also report Trump banned Epstein from his Maralago Club because Epstein sexually assaulted a girl at the club. The released court records also say Trump never has sex with the women.
Trump wont pardon Epstein.
Hate Trump all you want, but dont spread lies.
Cambridge Analytica won't influence me!
I'll just vote how Facebook and Google tell me.
Same thing happened to TechTV 15 years ago. G4 bought it, removed all the tech/geek/internet/os shows and pushed pop culture, console gamers and x-sports.
So ScreenSavers and other show developers/hosts moved on and gave us Revision3 and Twit.tv.
Wikipedia articles are tweaked by a clique of editors who promote a political viewpoint, and that viewpoint goes against other countries and certain political parties. There's a term for that, propaganda, and Wikipedia has a problem with being neutral. Some editors are abusing their powers.
It's no more different than banning someone for "community standards", just to remove people to ban a topic. Wiki editors do the same thing, delete articles and claim the "notable" excuse.
Its a common problem going on with global tech and social media, Google/Facebook already removes content for countries, Wikipedia is just refusing, so they got blocked.
WSL also has threading issues and os issues. This will be fixed in later versions. I went back to cygwin because its faster. Cygwin is great, WSL might over take it someday, you can also follow the WSL github to see whats going on. But for now, Cygwin is much faster.
Irc has emoji support now.
