Nice try with Norway: https://worldpopulationreview.... > For example, Norwayâ(TM)s world-leading annual rate was due to a single devastating 2011 event, in which far-right extremist Anders Behring Breivik gunned down 69 people at a summer camp on the island of UtÃya. Norway had zero mass shootings in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. And then further down: > Using the median analysis, the United States is the only country examined that shows a propensity for mass shootings. The data itself supports this interpretation, as the United States endured mass shooting events all seven years, but the other countries all experienced mass shootings during only one or two years. Thus, in a typical year, most countries experience zero mass shooting deaths, while the US experiences at least a few.

It isn't the answer because you went on to describe some mockery of a "universal healthcare system" instead of a real one. A real one like a single payer system perhaps that has real clout, and one that is funded from taxes so that the richer share more of the burden than the poor. Mind you, I have no idea how the US system works but what you described there sounds nothing like what passes for universal healthcare in other first world countries.

Ever heard of the saying, "Two wrongs don't make a right."? Analysis has shown that more guns doesn't lead to more crime, just more crime that results in fatalities: https://www.vox.com/2015/8/27/... If ghost guns is indeed a problem, then we should be trying to curb it, not give up altogether!

WTF? In the 1990s this was a must-read for -anyone serious about software or software-intensive systems-. Are we all now so collectively ignorant that no one (else) has read this book?

What bad thing did they say about Boehm? I don't see anything that claims he didn't exist.
