Wait, are you GPT-3? Maybe 2?

What do you mean by "compiles cleanly to predictable ASM"? Do you mean individual lines always output the same assembly in any given context? That hasn't been true for a long time, so you can't mean that. Do you mean that if you follow the steps of the C compiler in a given OS state that you will get roughly the same (the same for all intents and purposes, but things like compile-time constants like, well, COMPILE_TIME might differ) output? Well, yeah, that's called running a program, you're just doing it in your brain.

Are you saying that every C compiler is deterministic in a (consequential) way that Rust compilers are not?

It's got to be something I haven't thought of. What am I missing?

My goodness. You know for sure that when you see some right-wing thought leader use the word "wokeism" you're in for a joy ride of reactionary hysteria, exaggeration, and flabby bad faith arguments. The review of the book by David M. Jones and M. L.R. Smith and the manifesto from (among others) Victor Orban fan and prissy whiner Rod Dreher, N.S. Lyons, and R.R. Reno do not disappoint in this regard.

And boy, those effete semi-fascists sure do love using lots of initials, don't they? One wonders what their baristas at Starbucks write on the cup of their soy lattes.

But open a Dominos?

You can find better food at practically any street vendor's in Naples than anything you could find at any of the big American chain behemoths. I once had a calzone served to me wrapped in paper at a Naples market that still gives me night sweats to think about. The lady who served it to me looked like Al Molinaro from Happy Days, but she knew how to make a calzone.
