Comment HR will be HR (Score 5, Insightful) 241

HR is always a bunch of ass-sucking sycophants. That is true in every industry. Never count on meeting an intelligent person is HR. And NEVER count on them as an ally -- they are there for the company, not you. They ONLY time they might take your side is (if they are capable of understanding you) when you explain to them their managers have fucked up so badly, they will likely lose a lawsuit.

Fuck HR. It is always a pink ghetto.

Comment Re:Dear "gun control" advocates (Score 1) 1013

Thank you for asking the correct question which no one else could be bothered to.

The top is an SKS, a semi automatic military surplus rifle (chinese model). It fires a 7.62x39 round, same round used in the "ak47/akm/type56". The bottom is an ar15, a semiautomatic civilian firearm that fires the .223/5.56x45 round. Both have legitimate defensive and sporting uses. The joke is though, the top gun does not look as "scary" because of the wood furniture. While the bottom one looks like a big bad full auto baby seeking assault rifle, which it is not. Both as of now are perfectly legal to own in the US.

tl;dr kneejerk liberals think we should ban the bottom one because of looks while the one on the top is ok because it looks like a hunting rifle, but it is just as capable of killing shit.

Oh yes, The shah was sooooo horrible compared to mossadegh who was friendly with the USSR. The islamists took power in 1979, not the decades prior. Your ilk is merely a cabal of useful idiots without a shred of historical perspective. Look at how the idiot liberals in Iran got "betrayed" by Khomeini right after taking power.

Stop blaming America for everything. Try to understand that history is more complicated than your cute little wikipedia articles.
