No kidding. The only reason I have an account there is that I fell for an old trick, and didn't look at the actual href of the link I clicked.

Don't actually go downtown for better speed, unless you're in a very small town. Buildings do nothing but deflect signals. Signal strength is likely better in a downtown park, even if it's full of trees, than between buildings.
Sprints WiMax network IS a different technology that gives higher speeds than 3G, so why wouldn't it be called 4G? its the 4th generation of tech.
It could just be called WiMax. It's not actually the fourth generation, it's just a new generation after 3G and 3.5G were prominent.
I've only owned one Mac in my lifetime, so my knowledge of them may be minimal; but OSX no longer boots. Doesn't seem that rare to me.
All south facing windows' blinds are angled to reflect or let sunlight through, depending on forecast and current temperature. I'm on the second floor in a suburban apartment complex. I've only needed to turn on the heater twice since winter ended, and it's been under 50 degrees at night for most days of the past month.
It's pretty convenient how the leaves spring before summer, blocking heat from the south side, then fall for winter, allowing heating of the floor and walls.
During the summer, I just put a box fan in a south facing window, blowing out, and open windows on the north side. I have a window AC unit but it's been in the garage for a few years now.

Seriously, though, it is Windows PC's that are present in government organizations, can gain sentience, and launch nuclear attacks to destroy all humans..
Cool stuff, but he left out the Amiga Joyboard.
Please tell your colleagues that the best music uses all or most of a CD's 80 dB volume range, not just the top 5 dB (i.e. avoids volume compression).
This has already been attempted. Customers used to the "top 5dB" bought new CD's that had been mastered properly, in the 80dB range, and didn't like their new quiet CD's. The record company received a deluge of "low volume" complaints.
Best Buy is great. I was there looking for a SATA controller amongst a bunch of PCI cards, and a guy offered help. He led me to another aisle, looked around for a moment, then apologized "they're all USB." I tried explaining it was for a hard drive, but he said those come on motherboards, and they didn't have any.
FYI, the PSX and the DC aren't all that close. The Saturn was of the same generation as the PSX and was more complex/powerful, and the DC was the next generation. It may not be outside the realm, but it'll likely take a while.
The summary only said "dream console" because it sounds neat. I think a Wii is worth having for its unique qualities, but an Xbox does everything you mentioned and is much cheaper. I'm sure a few other systems have that many emulation abilities as well.
It's uncommon, but some kids in my area mysteriously move a few weeks or a month before 9th grade starts. The parents don't actually move; only their child "moves" in with a close family friend who lives in the less laughable school's area, then they take public transit or get rides to their new school.
It seems to work quite well.
A response as soon as this is a good indicator, but I have a feeling, even though the Ars article notes other interesting points, the seemingly bad numbers will be focused on since a torrent site brought that point. Mr. Watters, even though your response makes sense, only 0.3% of Internet readers will realize you're not ignoring obvious fallacies. It's funny how much the speed of the Internet detriments the time put into considering the facts that make up the context.
If you can't find the book but still want some Amiga history, Ars had a good series a few years ago.
Anyone can make an omelet with eggs. The trick is to make one with none.
