I got a Brother laser printer and it is awesome in every way. It now costs about twice what I paid for it a year or two ago, but that is probably because people have realized that it is awesome. It lets you reset the empty toner message, so you can just keep right on using that toner that is getting lighter, but still is plenty good for every day use. There are no DRM plans in place to stop third party cartridges either. Just a great printer that works the way you want it to.

It doesn't sound like they were reviewing the cars, only the driver assist system.

A proper analogy would be the Ford getting 8/10 on it's breathalyzer, and the Porsche not receiving a rating, since it doesn't have a brethalyzer.

Not being able to drive on many roads that haven't been loaded into a database does not sound like it drives on roads better to me. If they are testing the driving feature then Testla wins. If they are testing the driver nanny feature, then Cadalack wins and Testla gets no rating, since it doesn't have a driver nanny feature.

Sure, I agree that IE is bad and ue should change. But who, and when is the tool going to be fixed. I lso work with the Hikvision cameras at times. They only work with Active X. I just wish people stopped making tools that still sequire IE before it is being taken away from us. It's not like we didn't have any idea that we should change.

Since recycling is a scam anyway I have just given up. Plastic can't be recycled only remade one time, it was know all along and telling us to recycle it just lets you pollute the environment without worrying about it. I now put food in the recycling and paper and plastic in the trash. I also have decided to start throwing trash and broken glass into the parking lots and streets. Since all we hear are lies from people telling us to do things that are not good for us, I will just believe that it is all lies and do the opposite. Society is failing and I want to help it along. I figure we can't fix this country until it fails completely and we get through some sort of civil war or revolution.

Right! And don't forget all the ring cameras that get set up to share their video with police automatically and without any warrant needed. It is pretty disingenuous to make an argument that don't even hold water today, much less in the future when this tech will be in use everywhere.

I would guess that the problem with using facial recognition evidence in prosecuting "minor" crimes is that the accused might fail to put up a legal defense, because they cannot afford it, so people can end up being criminalized unjustly.

You are assuming that the police will tell the accused that facial recognition was used. From what I have read that does not happen. How do you prepare a defense against something you do not know is being used against you.
