EV's are just not a good fit yet for cold climates. AWD and charging in the snow is some concerns. I can already see the damage some one with a snowblower causes when they hit a 220 V power cable connected to one of these EVs. Although Hilarious, it probably won't be good for anyone involved.

Github actually hires all over the world and is completely remote. So this is sort of an issue for them. But I can't say i disagree with the steps they have to take to remain a profitable business, especially with an IPO looming.

Because they want to monetize streaming, seeing as the pay cable golden goose is slowly having the life choked out of it.

The major issue is always money, these channels want you to go to their captive portal/service where they can force feed you more targeted ads based on cookies. And auction off ad space in 30 second slices, the targeting goes up because the ads are direct and with that so does the price they reap per ad, vs. the normal ad costs.
