he problem with instant translation is that it undermines the choice of looking up or not. Memory comes from a really strong filter. Instant translations make you look up more words, many more than what your brain can remember. It's better you just learn 2 words from that book that will stay for life than 20 you'll have forgotten by tomorrow.
I have a simple fix your this issue of yours, make the search more tedious by forcing the user (you) to solve a Sudoku puzzle before the dictionary will give you the definition.
How someone with his track record is even still in the industry is mind boggling, almost as much as the fact that SOE not only survived till now, but someone wanted to buy them.
We live in strange times.
or Taobao with google translate.
Or you could get the same effect by balancing your checkbook in MS Excel in front of a background of stars. The brutality of gameplay depends your personal finances.
Unless you're cozy with a developer, you can just get them to spawn assets for you.
If you'd tried Final Fantasy XIV and Wildstar, you'd have seen multiplayer difficulty levels that far eclipsed those of EQ1 and 2.
Wildstar had to lower difficulty levels significantly to preserve subscription numbers.
Though the Corpse Run mechanics of EQ1 arguably made it way more risky / intense / tedious depending on your perspective.
The full corpse looting in UO also greatly increased risk and "difficulty."
No modern MMO developer has been insane enough to dabble with these brutal mechanics, though Darkfall did go the open PvP, full corpse looting route, and couldn't gain any significant traction.
The Step Up Program is only if a new model is released within 90 days of purchase.
They do have a pretty good warranty program though. I've only ever owned 2 EVGA motherboards, both died after about 12 - 18 months and were replaced, one died about a year after the other is still going strong.
I wonder what wacky applications chefs will come up with for this one. I can see some of the molecular gastronomy folks doing some odd things.
Urea is involved in the protein untangling...that would probably make for some scary gastronomy.
According to the wiki entry, they had a valuation of $1B in September 2013.

I guess Apple can afford to throw money around.
As a child who grew up in a similar fashion, living in multiple continents and always having to leave my life behind, I can say that is a double edged blade.
I'm going to have to agree with AC on this, having experienced a transient childhood I can also attest to it being double edged blade.
If they're palatable and economically harvestable, they're prime candidates for om nom nom nom.
The Chinese have a saying that roughly translates to: "If it swims, crawls or flies and its backbone faces the Sun, it's edible."
Lots of invertebrates and crustaceans that don't meet that criteria also still make it to the table. Heh.
Your calculations are also assuming that power to charge the EV is free..
Since it sounds like you have to refactor everything this developer writes or hold their hand while writing it, maybe it would be faster for you to skip those steps and just figure out what code they are about to write and implement it yourself. Then, when they are about half way through coding, mention to your boss (preferable with the developer in question present for dramatic effect) that "Oh, I see Glen[n] is writing the Foserbaum module - I wrote that for amusement a couple days ago and tested it, should I just go ahead and check it in?".
Rinse-and-repeat.
Eventually Glen[n] will either quit or transfer out of humiliation or will get fired.
This is how thing would theoretically work in a perfect world. The reality is more likely that the codebase will devolve into an unmaintainable mess at which point you're either left to pick up the pieces, or look for a new job.
However, the problem with these types of tools is they frequently break some type of (needed) functionality on the site.
These sites are not going to like the way that users are going to work around this; by visiting other sites.
There is so little unique content being generated now, that will just go to other sites with more progressive privacy policies, or disable the app grudgingly if we're feeling lazy or can't find the content elsewhere, and hold it against them for all eternity.
I totally agree, Path of Exile is one of the best, if not the best F2P models I've encountered, I spent $20 on it purely to support them, I spent almost all of the credits on storage space though.
Memory fault - where am I?
