You mean exactly as we've done in the past few years without anyone working any less?
Did you factor in the results from the UK where it showed that production didn't really change?
If you have eight essentially non-productive hours per week but get paid for them, is that functionally any different than going home for those eight hours but still getting paid?
Care to explain why working fewer hours for the same paycheck you receive now would lead to rampant inflation? You just state it as fact and then don't touch on it again.
I for one already got a refund of all the money I've ever spent on Slashdot.
Another thing I remembered; QR codes. Anything from menus at restaurants to arranging delivery of two computer chairs requires you to have a phone to scan a QR code.
Yes, that was oddly specific. The furniture store where I bought them ONLY provided a QR code to
Unfortunately it's not quite that simple anymore.
I don't use my phone. No, really, for some reason the phone craze never caught me. But I still have it because it's required for so many things.
2FA? You need a phone. My bank does 2FA through a dedicated app, so can't settle for a dumb phone and SMS. Authenticators for stuff like Battle.net and Steam as well - phone required. Want an account on Telegram to use on your computer? You need a phone number! (Or did when I set it up years ago, anyway; no idea if that changed since.)
And so on and so forth. Society generally assumes you HAVE a phone and a lot of things become increasingly difficult to do if you don't have one.
"But officer, I know I broke the law, but so did everyone else and that makes it okay!"
So you were a constantly unpredictable element on the road, forcing everyone around you to adjust whenever you showed up. Got it.
For something like this people pay to support the creative process.
For AI there is no such process.
Surely the non-profit rideshare services are not non-worker rideshare services. There's still a job available.
Wow, that sounds like kindergarten levels of popularity contests. So now your job security is tied to being on the good side of the bully leader of the group?
Seriously, why are their systems globally tied so closely together that stores across multiple countries become unable to do business whatsoever? What possible use could there be for stores in New York to know in real-time how many cheeseburgers stores in Amsterdam are selling?
I was with you until your "I know I can get 70 fps over 100 mbps" part.
Did you know you can also get your computer to display 70 frames per second WITHOUT AN INTERNET CONNECTION at all?
How often do you actually care more about how large a percentage of the price is tax than how much money you need to pay in total? Especially at the moment of paying over sitting at your dining table with a calculator?
The major difference between bonds and bond traders is that the bonds will eventually mature.
