Change in air traffic volume: What change? It hasn't happened yet. It is fictitious.

Location and altitude of flights: What flights? Is there a master flight schedule with all of this information out to 2050?

Changing climate: Based on another model based on unpredictable future variables.

True Leftist Authoritarian. Do you think we should outlaw untrue stories, assuming you get to define the truth?

Are you sure that Project Veritas "shitposts"? It's interesting that, because investigative journalism has been phased out of corporate media because it costs too much, people don't seem to connect the dots about what investigative journalism is for. It is distinctly serving the purpose of going against the propagandistic narrative of corporate media to expose important topics that would otherwise remain in the dark.

Why give so much respect to Woodward and Bernstein for their work on Watergate, but disparage Project Veritas as they expose today's uncomfortable truths?

How about the grossly under reported (in corporate media) continuing story of the Mueller investigation, where the whole thing was built on Russian disinformation? that was paid for by the Clinton campaign? Will you deny the real story about the Russia hoax once it is fully investigated and exposed? How will you square your world view when faced with the possibility that you have been duped into actively discouraging others from seeking the truth?

Please develop some self awareness. The Left has a paramilitary domestic terrorist wing, ANTIFA. The Right has no such thing. Pointing out these one-offs from Trump supporters (which I'm sure have a deeper backstory than is being reported) is completely disingenuous, especially when you're generalizing "it comes from both sides."

The problem with the Left is otherwise decent Dem-types are happily allowing the loonies to seize control of the Democrat party because they are buying into the perceived moral superiority such acceptance instills. That is dangerous.

Comment Re: Too bad (Score 1) 743

This is a very tired Leftist talking point, because it completely circumvents/ignores/talks around the notion of "authoritarianism," which is not tied to "left" nor "right." In today's day and age, Leftists are the authoritarians. Under the guise of social justice and freedom, Leftists are the ones suppressing speech (Google, Facebook, Twitter), enforcing purity codes (no room for a pro-life candidate in the Dem party), and calling for violence against those who don't tow the party line (Maxine Waters, etc.).

It is unfortunate that sheeple have been convinced they must support "the party" lest they are intolerant racists and generally horrible human beings. Leftists are currently overplaying their political hand and, unfortunately, have crossed a line in which the politicization of issues is beginning to have the opposite of their stated intent. LGBT tolerance is starting to go down and, while it's convenient to blame muh orange cheeto, I think it has more to do with a disproportionate authoritarian demand that we celebrate (rather than simply tolerate) the LGBT lifestyle (which is essentially nobody's business to begin with), and abandon our agency to live by whatever creed or religion we have (bake a cake that you find morally objectionable, despite the fact that most bakers would gladly fulfill the order).

People hate politics, and shoehorning all the Leftist social ideals into politics is ironically impeding, shutting down, or undoing progress that civilization has made in such things. It's almost as if Leftists don't want people to get along. They hate everybody who does not agree with them, then complain about all the hate.

Right. Really, the evolution of civilization has been guided in large part by the constant struggle of the governed against governors. Unfortunately, Leftists politicized an inherently scientific issue and, in their arrogance, believe government is the only way to solve it. Meanwhile, despite the supposed urgency of the climate change issue, they retain their anti-nuclear stance and rather champion the destruction of civilization as we know it to "save the world." When challenged on this, they have no answer but "you're dumb."

The most important question that is ACTUALLY rarely asked: Why are people still repeatedly asking these loaded propagandistic questions but ignoring all the answers that exist all over the place? These trite questions are long on ambiguous insinuation, but in no substantial way support the "capitalism is bad" leftist conclusion in the final paragraph. The ideas in the parent post do demonstrate:

* Resentment against those who are successful
* Lack of consideration of the consequences of bad individual health and vocation choices
* A fundamental misunderstanding that, because the US government doesn't control healthcare, there is innovation in US healthcare, and people from around the world requiring advanced medical care come to the US
* A fundamental misunderstanding that without a system that rewards higher-value labor output (higher income), we would *all* be *worse* off
