Ah true, Google Chat is XMPP. But Google Messages is RCS. But it is true both Chat and Messages are not proprietary in AOSP. OTOH I do not think the few AOSP users matter here. In Google Android both apps are proprietary.

Nobody cares about CO2. CO2 is at one of its lowest levels in history. Vegetation is chokind from lack of CO2. What matters are toxic fumes from ICE cars but that is difficult to measure as there are many different poisonous gases in various types of ICE cars so the most simple measurement of ICE cars fumes became CO2 despite CO2 itself is no problem.

The current problem is to get EVs accepted by customers. We are not at the point of lacking resources to manufacture them. What you can see is how everyone is buying crappy gas cars at least 2x the TCO price of an EV because still people have expectations their range is too low and they would have to be waiting for Supercharging.

Another problem is EVs cost a lot while their TCO is lower than ICE cars. There should be some product of banks so that people can pay similarly as for gas while getting acceptable initial cost of an EV. As the customers cannot calculate it themselves, they are still waiting until the price (=purchase price) gets the same but that moment EVs are already half the cost (=TCO) of an ICE car.

The only place where even just a small donut tire fits in Model 3 is the trunk. And then you no longer have a trunk which is a pretty valuable space in the small Model 3.

Why to lose half of a day waiting for a road service when it can be replaced in 15 minutes. Waiting for the road service will ruin all your planned stuff.

The problem is most of them do not fit the big brake of Performance variant. But for Long Range it is OK.

Also it does not fit anywhere else than trunk and then you no longer have a trunk.
