Norway, THE ENTIRE COUNTRY land area, is almost the same as one state in the USA. Montana. As for their population, it is around 5.5 million which would be the same as South Carolina. In Europe, you can drive across multiple countries in hours. In the USA, it takes DAYS to drive across the USA. We are a bit spread out and, for driving around town, EV's aren't that bad I guess, but for long haul they are inconvenient. Who wants to spend hours charging a car to just drive across 2-3 states. Then, there is the problem with charging stations (lack of) and more importantly, the charging grid which can barely handle what we have now. Solar & wind cannot put enough juice on the wires.

And start another ice age! https://interestingengineering... They found that the onset of the ice age coincided with a period of very low volcanic activity, which reduced the amount of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere.

After they get this, then you do realize how easy it will be for the government to turn off "your" vehicle when ever they feel like it. Plus, them monitoring your speed 24/7, means they can go ahead and use the GPS to tax how much and how far you drive. Technology...taking away your freedom one digital bit at a time.

Part of the reason is the "auto industry" doesn't want to invest in shielding the AM radio from the RF noise generated by the battery powered cars, the electronics & what not in a vehicle. And, I can agree, the auto industry would LOVE to make the radio, a "subscription". Shoot, in a few years, EVERYTHING will be a subscription! #%$^@%

If company policy is you work in the office, and you don't like it, QUIT! It's the company's rules, not yours. Start your own company and work from home if that is what you want, or quit and join a company that allows you to work from home. YOU are the employee, not the employer. One of two things will happen. The company will lose enough employees that they change their requirements to be in the office, or there will be enough people willing to work in the office and they won't change their requirements.
