Agree 100%. Climate alarmists can never answer this crucial question: What atmospheric CO2 level optimizes Earth's human carrying capacity? If they say, "pre industrial levels" they can never explain why. Climate alarmism is just a tool used by the elites and Western governments to scare and manipulate their populace into surrendering their individual liberty and even their time via money (carbon taxes).

Exactly. If you deep dive into these issues with airlines and aircraft manufacturers (Boeing and Spirit Aerospace for example), it almost always stems from rejecting meritocracy in favor of hiring and promotion practices rooted in DEI rather than merit. I wonder how many people are going to have to die before DEI dies. So dumb.

Comment Was meritocracy rejected in favor of DEI? (Score 0) 84

The fuselage in question was built by Spirit Aerospace. A quick look at their hiring page exposes that they care more about diversity, equity, and inclusion than than merit. You can either maximize for merit, or maximize for diversity. You cannot simultaneously maximize for both merit and diversity. Let's face the reality: diversity in the DEI sense just means anything except white and east Asian men. On Spirit's DEI website (linked below), they boast about how they value "a full range of differences".

Here is quote from their website: "Spirit is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. We believe that embracing diversity in all its forms is key to driving innovation and achieving success. Join us in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the aerospace industry. Spirit values the full range of differences, perspectives and abilities that our employees bring to the workplace. We strive to create an environment where all employees feel welcomed and a sense of belonging. Cultivating a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion directly aligns with our values and is a key enabler to achieving our overall business strategy to enhance performance."

What differences are they referring to exactly? What about those differences makes them valued? Do those differences actually result in higher quality lower cost products? Are they assuming that all cultural differences equally good? Do they realize that differences can actually create problems (example: language barriers, confusion that stems from that, disagreement, disunity, dysfunction, etc) Based on their website graphics, it appears that differences they're referring to are at least biological; skin, eye, and hair color -- all characteristics associated with race. The main photo on their DEI page features exactly 10 darker skinned young women wearing hijabs, 4 darker skinned men, 1 east Asian man, and 1 east Asian woman. Notably missing is a single caucasian male even though they make up a huge percentage of the general population. Why not just hire the most qualified individuals regardless of immutable characteristics like race and sex? Spirit Aerospace's hiring page reeks of antiwhitism as well as discrimination against white men. Did they choose to hire less competent less experienced people solely based on race (i.e. preference toward non-whites) and gender (i.e. preference toward women)? If so, could one or more of their diversity hires have forgotten to install the bolts and locking pins that were missing on the panel that flew off that Boeing 737 MAX aircraft? I doubt we will ever find out, but if they are rejecting meritocracy in favor of DEI, it certainly begs the question! Any airline that engages in diversity hiring is probably sacrificing safety on the altar of DEI.

Start by learning about how the world really works, who run is, what their objectives are. Then you will have the motivation to prepare. Live well within your means. Increase your means. Get healthy. Form alliances and trade and barter networks with like minded people, such as the Amish or Mormons. If you wake up and think about what you need to live -- food, shelter, clothing, communication, transportation, health -- then you can learn and practice how to produce it on your own or obtain it via your own network of prepared individuals, thus increasing your own odds of survival. This is just another one of governments' death throws. After governments worldwide collapse and destroy eachother, the "government shall be upon His shoulders" finally. The former government fiat currencies will be worthless since their value is solely dependent on fools who decide to exchange their time and labor for something that can be recklessly and endlessly created out of thin air. Folks, just blend into the background, get some popcorn, and watch the devil's grand finale fireworks but make sure you've first maximized your self reliance and minimized your government dependency, or you won't stand a chance.

Comment Reducing CO2 could be bad for human life (Score 1) 206

I pose this question to environmental activists and they can't give me a sensible answer: What atmospheric CO2 level optimizes human life on Earth and why? They often say pre-Industrial Revolution era levels, and their reason is some variant of "Those evil greedy white colonizers ruined the planet with all their smokestacks!" I can give a lot of reasons why higher CO2 levels (up to a point obviously) are better overall for humans compared to current ones or lower ones.

Comment Great for cash (Score 1) 225

This is good for cash, which I think more people should use since it is more anonymous and strips some power away from nosy corporations and governments. Bad for VISA and Mastercard, especially because this reeks of collusion between the two major credit card companies, since both companies are raising their fees essentially simultaneously. This is probably a racket and these two companies should be the target of an investigation by the Department of Justice for anti-trust violations.
