It is? What was wrong with the FCC's latest rules? I didn't see anything objectionable about them, and I'm usually anti-government. The rules seemed reasonable - block ISPs from discriminating against sites or charging extra to reach them.

Give them an inch and they'll take a mile. It's okay if they apply those rules. That just set a precedent. Now they can apply any other rules they wish. Oh but wait... the other rules might become objectionable.

Excellent news. I support Net Neutrality but I do not support the FCCs control over the internet. Why should the FCC have this power? This is just a way for the government to trick the people into thinking that it's okay for the government to control the internet. Next thing you know there is internet IDs, user tracking, content monitoring, censorship, fairness doctrines, and so on. Then the people say... wait who gave the government the power to regulate the internet? Oh... oops we did by supporting the governments order of net neutrality.

I think he is accused of profile manipulation. Not aim-botting, wall hacking, or anything of that sort. He probably is good at XBOX and probably spends countless hours playing. But he probably found this easy way to unlock features and achievements by manipulating his profile. Here is how easy its done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xD_mBRBcOwo The warning provided is that you may have your account reset if you get caught. So yes he probably did cheat.

I agree. I use the Microsoft Natural® Ergonomic Desktop 7000. The mouse has caused my wrist pain to disappear. I have this keyboard and mouse combo at work and at home. Totally worth the price.

In southern Arizona we also have the problem with pack rats. They are a plague around homes. My 1997 Camaro had all the insulation and wiring chewed out by pack rats. Cost me $1500 in damage. The alternator was toast. The guy who fixed my car said that he had never seen an air filter in such horrible condition in his life. They used that as the toilet. Apparently a nest had been built in the hollow area at the very front end of the car. I dubbed my car the Pack Rat Mobile Housing Unit because apparently they had been going to work and back with me before I knew there was a problem. After that I hunted the pack rats with my pellet gun. I shot two of them and poisoned others. That is the disadvantage of a carport and not having a closed garage. Although I suppose even a garage might not stop it from happening.

Submission + - Microsoft must abandon Vista to save itself (neowin.net)

Technical Writing Geek writes: "While Vista was originally touted by Microsoft as the operating system savior we've all been waiting for, it has turned out to be one of the biggest blunders in technology. With a host of issues that are inexcusable and features that are taken from the Mac OS X and Linux playbook, Microsoft has once again lost sight of what we really want.

As we're more than aware, Vista Ultimate comes at a premium. For an additional $160 over the Premium SKU price, Ultimate gives you a complete backup and restore option, BitLocker Drive encryption, the ever so popular Windows Fax & Scan, and the "Ultimate Extras." But what started with a promise of "Extras" by summer, quickly turned into an apology from Microsoft and the eventual release of DreamScene and Windows Hold 'Em (among others) today. And while each of the "Extras" runs just fine, Microsoft's "Extras" blunder is just another reason why the company must abandon Vista before it's too late.
