Terrorists use terror for political purposes. Violence is deprecated, but not everyone who is violent is a terrorist.

Your idea seems unrealistic on two counts:

Historically we have seen groups with houses and future to reach for, who still go to war.

Israel did withdraw from Gaza, motivated by your idea, closing the settlements and removing the settlers, and Gaza got worse, not better. The infrastructure got damaged.

Well, I'm uncomfortable killing, period. Even if they are terrorists, we should look for another way before jumping in to killing them. In the case of Hamas there may (or may not) be another way, but war is always and everywhere a sad thing.

They have improved in the sense that the output of the translation tools is more likely to be grammatically correct.

yeah, it's not completely there yet. I've long said we absolutely need nuclear for a couple/three decades to bridge the gap until renewable and storage catch up.

Another thing to considers is we may not have/need/want a few massive plants, but 10x as many smaller ones. These can be sited much closer to populations, won't need as much transmission build out etc.
