Betteridge's law of headlines is an adage that states: "Any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no".

my god. who hurt you?
I work outside of the USA and I am in a union. I have been in many different unions depending on what business I am working for. Here only the best are put in a position where they represent the rest of us. I am overall impressed with the skills and their engagement. If anything the representatives and leaders work twice as hard as many others. What you write is something I cannot relate to at all and must be unique to where you live.
284 trillion km sounds like something you could do in your old Volvo

How can you be an IT director with this mindset?! "Productivity generally is a function of the app you're producing in, not the OS you're working on." ?!?!?!
Productivity is the result of being able to do your work. Obviously you have heard the arguments, but to me it sounds like you refuse to accept them and begrudgingly approve the purchase. I wonder if you underestimate the productivity and value of being happy? At least you seem to approve the purchases, and if your business does well you should be grateful that it does, your results is the sum of your colleagues' performance.Your responsibility as an IT director is to listen to your employees and help them perform well.

Exactly the same reason I choose Defender as well on my personal devices, and recommend it to friends and family. Professionally it is a different story. I don't think it is mature for servers as of 2019
Why not just grow brainless humans and harvest their organs?
Imagine the factories.
It's not creepy at all.
Imagine staring into the eyes of a brainless person, perhaps lying naked on a table. hooked up to machinery that continuously reads out its vital information - ensuring that the body is fully functional and ready for harvest.
uh. it is absolutely not the bottom of the barrel. Most exploits works from inside the computer, if there are proven tools that can extract passwords and passphrases from memory it is just a matter of time before they can take over your whole life. If not fixed quickly exploits are going to pop up in the wild in 3..2..1..
Isn't this the technical equivalent of "thoughts and prayers"?
Interesting, if anyone was fooled by that they kind of deserves it. Like reading an Onion news article and falling for it, you ought to know better.
Wasn't FB built to stalk women..?
KANOA send headphones for review, this guy THOROUGHLY reviewed them and SLAUGHTER the product, shortly after they closed their web page
nothing wrong with transparency. encryption is about hiding, signing is about identity and that no-one tampers with your messages. ftw.
