Thousands of old devs are all thinking "I told you so" right now. Microsoft security has always been problematic, including their cloud offerings. AWS was always superior in this area with their "security first" approach to cloud products. Microsoft just did whatever they had to for compliance and an appearance of security.

Actions speak louder than words. If they had also banned the "ultra-left" then one could argue that it was a neutral move. But so far all their left wing extremists, including convicted terrorists, are still there. One could also defend the action if they only banned Trump, but instead it was a widespread purge of people who were outspoken with right wing ideology. So yes, they obviously have taken a position to be a left wing site.

There are only a handful of these cases worldwide, and based on the case studies I have seen, it could just as easily be poor choice of treatments by doctors that caused these extreme side effects than the virus itself. Not enough data to support the administration of a vaccine that comes with it's own set of risks. As the OP said, the algorithm was probably correct. Science often contradicts what people think should be the case from an emotional point of view.

An engine with a power to weight ratio like this and flexible fuel options should sell itself, especially for any aircraft application. The fact that they are still fishing for government "development" money instead of selling them on every street corner tells me that despite the simplicity, there is still significant issues with the design that they are not mentioning in the flashy videos.

As part of Frontier's woes, they sold off their Northwest region to the Wave broadband. Now if you think Frontier is bad, I promise you, Wave is twice as bad. Oh, and now they have an effective monopoly in many areas since wave and frontier were the only ISPs. If it were not for Starlink, we would be going backwards on general internet availability.

In the end, its mostly all a marketing gimmick anyway with current needs. I am what most would consider a "power user", on my phone all day long and often using tethering to conduct conference calls and remotely access work resources. I had a "5G" phone but when I did my last phone upgrade, I passed up "5G" support to get other features in the phone that were more useful for me. "4G" is fast enough for everything I need to do. I have had the 4G phone for several months now and can't tell the difference other than that it doesn't have the cute little "5G" symbol showing up in the corner of my screen.

This reads like a bad crime drama plot. She has a history of criminal cyberstalking, which is why she was fired in the first place. So she has motive, opportunity, and a history of committing similar crimes. Obviously any judge is going to sign off on that warrant. Maybe it turns out one of her kids did it, but having worked with unbalanced people like this in government roles before, I would say the chances are very high that she did it. And I would bet money that her allegations about covid numbers manipulations are just a ploy to try to get compensation for being fired. White collar criminal is and white collar criminal does.

Submission + - Two more firsts for SpaceX with CRS-21 (cnbc.com)

bobcat7677 writes: Not only does CRS-21 represent the first cargo mission to the ISS using SpaceX's upgraded Dragon 2 capsule (the previous missions were manned), but today marks the first time two Space-X modules have been docked to the ISS at the same time, the CRS-21 cargo ship and the Crew-1 Dragon 2 module that arrived with 4 astronauts on board last month. Meanwhile, it seems Boeing is even further embarrassed by the fact they have not even been able to demonstrate docking with the ISS using their Starliner capsule yet. To put it colloquially: SpaceX is now filling two holes in the ISS while Boeing still can't "get it up". Disclaimer: I have no connection to either company, I just think it's interesting.

In the end, this is correct. I was posting about actual arson that I witnessed. The official narrative was that all the reports of arson were false, which I am sure is why the "fact checkers" squashed me. There were many false reports of arsonists, there were also many real incidents of arson that authorities and media seemed to want very much to suppress. Local people tried really hard to get the word out on what was really happening here, but it seems like it was all distorted or silenced depending on the platform. The causes of some of the fires were never determined, but of all of the fires that occurred that week within 100 miles of me that I know of, around half of them were probably arson and several people were caught in the act of starting fires including the one I personally witnessed. But everybody wanted to spin it to their narrative. So-called "conservative" outlets were quick to blame "antifa" for all the arson, which was only partially true...there was some of that, but there were also a bunch of crazies out doing methed up stuff. On the other side, the "liberal" outlets were in full denial that any arson was happening, instead claiming all the fires were accidental or naturally occurring. In the end, the truth was quite a bit different from what any of them reported.

Yes, governments normally have the power to regulate trade, including shutting down businesses. It is the responsibility of citizens to setup a government in which that power is not abused. The situation we face today is that in many cases, the government (or more specifically, the people currently in charge) are abusing those powers as the system of checks and balances has broken down while citizens have stuck their heads in the sand and ignored corruption.
