This is the kind of thing a person says when they don't know that epistemology is a thing. Not all information is equal and if a person has robust cognitive tooling. Your assertion that "none of us are that way all the time" is correct but as a society, we are consistently bad at thinking. That's because we don't teach things like epistemology in high schools anymore. The only reason I'm familiar with it is my friend took Philosophy 101 in college and just didn't get it and I ended up teaching him the class.

And any coherent understanding of liberty and bodily autonomy accepts that a person can make this choice. Just as a person can make the choice to attend the church of their choosing. No one is forcing anyone to be trans and this "forcing children to be trans" nonsense is just bad faith bullshit by people who don't respect themselves or others enough to adopt a coherent worldview.
