Umm I do not have an iPhone but at least 13 MILLION people do. They expect to sell another 15 million or so this year and I would bet on it if the 4G is released.

The N900 has it own limitations the biggest being having to use AT&T or T-Mobile and large upfront cost.

SO wrong it is not even funny. Never mind the 100's of cameras iMovie supports natively.. and ignoring the 70+ formats QuickTime supports there are DivX plug-in, Windows Plug-In for both import and export. Worse case you pass it though StreamClip (free) and convert it to QT. About the hardest thing to convert is muxed MPEG-2.

Where as on of Linux best Editors, Cinelerra, still needs about $30 of plug-ins to do Windows media and MP3 audio correctly.

I was perfectly happy with Linux until I wanted to start editing video. Most Linux video editing apps while "free" and do a basic job, they IN NO WAY compare with even iMovie that comes included with your Mac.

Google should first target those groups on Facebook that think any day now Facebook is going to start "charging" a monthly fee to use the service.

Bullshit. Flash is a TOTAL CPU/battery hog. Just unplug your laptop and "try" and play Farmville (or other heavy Flash app) for an hour. You won't .

I have a plain old phone that does not do anything other than make a call and take crappy pictures. Since I am in the market, I have played with all the new model phones. Hands down the iPhone seems the smoothest and easiest to use (to me). I could care less about SD cards or replaceable batteries. (Seems silly unless you need talk 20 hours straight). The Droid stuff just seems non-intuitive to me. The only reason I do not have an iPhone is it runs AT&T and they have no coverage here... not even cell. But if the iPhone 4 comes out on Verizion, I am so there.

Right... Get a huge potion of business for a large established company. Cultivate this over a few years. Then, tell them what their prices are going to be. When they refuse to budge. Yes for "Windows" it IS good but if you have used -ANY-other good OS in the last few years... Windows 7 is nothing more than what is "expected" of an OS these days.

I just remember US Robotic modems and BBS's and when you were lucky enough to have a USR and connect to another US Robotics modem you always seemed to get a speed just above what everyone else had. (HST mode) 16.8k back in 92-93 us laughing at the poor 14.4 guys. In retrospect... kind of sad.

Oh please . Can I sign up, get service, and not sign and agreement? NO. Now exactly would I know how good their customer service, the network, or coverage is without signing up with them? Then once I find out how crappy the service for -my- needs I am stuck? Then they can charge -ANY- amount of $$$ to release me from crappy service? Sorry buddy there should be some level of oversight.
