Anyone with a 3D printer can print stuff. Good luck on regulating that.
Funny. Let's totally pretend like "Anyone with X can do Y" hasn't been regulated and enforced for most things since forever, right?
Are you referring to Team Fortress 2? If so, you fail. That game is well over 10 years old, and the mechanics are equally tired and well known.
You got anything else for "The one with teams"?
And? Team Fortress 2 is literally #7 most played game across the entirety of Steam TODAY.
This has been doable in ZFS (l2arc) for god knows how damn long.
Piercing the corporate veil is about holding shareholders responsible for the same things as the corporation. That's going to backfire for any widely held company. Cases like this hold executives responsible, which is a different legal concept, and is likely to be much more effective in managing the behavior of corporate executives.
When your property causes damages to others, you, the owner, get billed, not an inanimate object. If you don't feel comfortable enough with being responsible for what your property is doing, why do you continue to own this property? And why should I care or that it's "widely held"?
Yeah, you know MOST people absolutely DO NOT have this ability, right?
Something's not right here. Not at all.
Since 1979, our productivity rose by 65%. The average work day barely changed in length, if anything, it got longer. Now, one could understand if our compensation went up by 65% as well, but it didn't. In 1979, you could sustain a family of 4 on a working paycheck.
Why does outright FALSE bullshit like this get upvotes? You're right in saying that the compensation hasn't gone up 65% since 1979. Only because it has gone up much MUCH MORE.
And? Build more housing units and don't tell people what they can or can't do with their property.
I like that iphones are trustable. I want something that just works.
The "trustable" part is the app store, so just install apps from that and nothing changes. Nobody is forcing you to use other app stores or payment methods, you just might pay more to use Apple's services simply because they charge more.
FALSE. As soon as sideloading is allowed, some major app vendors (looking at you, EPIC) will try their utmost to strongarm users into downloading apps outside the Appstore. Sure, nobody is holding a gun to my head forcing me to download a specific app, but that snideness is not helpful either.
- First, they will ask you for a phone number.
- Then, they will define their own rules of what is considered acceptable behaviour, which in practice means adults being bound by silly rules of children-safe policies.
- Then, they will punish you from any deviation of the rules, and while doing so they will lock you out of the entire account, including all your other games.
Of course, that's the entire point, duh - keeping users responsible. If you don't want to behave responsibly, that's great, just don't expect to keep access to their games and to be able to continue ruining the games for others. It's great. FINALLY.
Itâ(TM)s a common misconception that they need to make the source code freely avalaible to anyone. They only need to make it available to those to whom they distribute the binaries and there is no obligation to post it on a public webserver instead of either hiding it behind a customer account login or having it only available upon request.
How anyone can not see that any country can easily separate you from your crypto holdings by taking down the network is beyond me;
Good luck with that. Radiowave-based nodes are a thing.
You canâ(TM)t sell an asset to yourself. You can only move it between accounts. Which is not taxable.
This is something you have to be a professional or at least a dedicated hobbyist for.
Dafuq? All you have to do is buy a Pi, download and write the image to SD, answer a few questions and modify your DNS in the router.
What you just wrote would entirely fly over the heads of 95%+ of all computer users.
Dafuq, indeed.
Not to mention that Google is roughly 10-15 years too late. You don't "just build" an enticing integrated ecosystem in a year or two.
I've noticed several design suggestions in your code.
