It's a nice idea but usually these buildings are laid out completely the wrong way for people to live in them. Think plumbing, ventilation, electrical, access, windows, etc etc. Usually totally wrong for a residential structure.

That'll find you bugs in the code but not necessarily bugs resulting from quirks (or outright bugs) with the underlying libraries in use. You'd need fuzz testing etc to bring those out. Seems like something a computer would be ideal for.

Don't you guys develop on branches and gate your merges on PR checks? How can you 'break the build' unless your development practices are in the dark ages?

Perhaps Musk was giving some people Starlink for free, but not most. Ukranians were paying, many of them via Polish accounts.

The actual SpaceX engineers designing these engines get no credit. No mentions. Zero.

SpaceX is a collection of some really smart people and their identities are suppressed to an almost comic degree. All credit is attributed to the company or to Musk. Never to the individuals actually doing all this cool shit.

C/C++ buffer overflows *are* bad engineering: bad engineering of the language. They aren't fit for purpose. Think of how many security issues have been caused by buffer overflows in the past 30 years, let alone crashes. Memory unsafe languages need to get in the bin.
