Following up, I am honored by the attention and kindness of fellow nerds and online friends. When I first started on that chase in 1986, I had no idea wrhere it would lead me.

A curious accounting error led me through Unix internals, tcp/ip protocols, early Arpanet connections, and backwards to a group of computer hackers working for then Soviet & Stassi agencies. Along the way, I met people from the FBI, NSA, CIA, AFOSI, and plenty of very smart computer jocks.

It was a time of analog phones and dial up modems; when you would carry coins in your pocket to make calls on the street.

Since then, thanks to the support of online friends and math folk, I have explored and shared interests in topology and math. Along the way, Iâ(TM)ve made plenty of mistakes and bloopers; pretty much the same as student times. Goofups in grad school are easier to sweep aside!

Well, abuse can be in the eye of the beholder and can include lots of various things ranging from being ignored to beaten, not being religious, it is not my case to judge why people get divorced, and believing in freedom, they do have a right to get divorced.
As for India, laws were passed and after decades of enforcement, hardly any women are now thrown on the funeral pier. Families were not happy about that, though I assume the women were happy not to be treated as chattel to be chucked.
That's often the problem with your family ideas, it involves the women being treated as a possession instead of as an equal.

Recently also watched a YouTube documentary on the Carpathia where various wireless operators were reporting the ice field along with ships being stopped while waiting for daytime.
I'd assume the boilers were full of steam and if needed the ships could easily be turned into the wind/waves if needed.
I guess it is hard to believe in a flat sea in that part of the Atlantic, last time I crossed it in an ocean liner somewhat smaller then the Titanic, the waves were 40 ft tall, never puked so much since and it was hard crossing the cabin to puke with how it was rocking.

Scientists also recorded record human growth due to all the sugar in foods, doesn't mean that it is healthy to have that growth. CO2 to plants is much like sugar to humans, by itself not exactly healthy even if it does cause more growth.

I am seeing more bumble bees here then during the last few years. I remember as a kid in the big city, lawns would have a lot of bumble bees visiting the clover, don't see that in town anymore.

Honey Bee usually refers to one species of bee that has been domesticated, or perhaps a genera (Apis) of bee, all native to Afro-EuroAsia. There's lots of other species/genera of bees that are native to N. America, bumble bees, mason bees etc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
