Each overlapping anywhere from 30min (magic wand thinking mega chargers) to 8 hours ("overnight" chargers). Each year that number goes up and up and up. All on a grid and power generation backbone that is fucking ancient and has problems (in some states) due to increase in AC demand.

I wouldn't go as far as saying it had either a nice or an actual ending. The last couple episodes left too much still up in the air (it needed another season, a couple more episodes, or a better editor)... but it did end though.
