This guy just copied and pasted his post. I found this same post about plane flight, the space shuttle, the hubble, the mars rover, and the lightbulb.

ok, i lied, but you get the point :)

Seems to work just fine for the olympics. If you just want to see who was the best, then its fine. The interesting bit being it beats both when everyone is so expecting another dissapointment. That actually is news till we see more.

It doesnt hope to be a quantitative comparison. And a certain audience really does care about that... just probably not slashdot.

People around these parts like #'s alot more. dont worry though, #'s will come.

The military is run very much like any other enterprise; cell phones, fax machines, computers, and -printers-. lots of paperwork. a big part of the military is moving data/information, documenting it, getting it in front of people to make decisions. alot of paying bills, aquiring supplies, etc.

anything that helps a business run pretty much helps the military run. the better it is, the more efficient the war machine is.

(although im sure some vets would disagree the paperwork helps anything... haha.. but you get the idea)

if it did, I'd be looking up new plans in my area. Thats just rediculous. They are altering and restricting service, with no added benefits anywhere?

The competitors should be advertising that they arent fairpoint as their best marketing campaign ever.

In a world where wiretaps, illegal searches, etc are very big issues, how on earth is simply keeping track of public and readily available, likely easily searchable blogs not an obvious choice over the other ways to gather information??

If slashdot had a terrorist corner, id expect the DHS to log in now and again. anything less would be negligent.

P.S. they should post anon. you know, for security.
