A third reform proposal is to clarify that federal antitrust claims are not covered by Section 230 immunity. Over time, the avenues for engaging in both online commerce and speech have concentrated in the hands of a few key players. It makes little sense to enable large online platforms (particularly dominant ones) to invoke Section 230 immunity in antitrust cases, where liability is based on harm to competition, not on third-party speech.

Yea... making it easier to level antitrust claims against large corporations is totally "colluding with big media companies".

"Otherwise objectionable" -> "unlawful and promotes terrorism".

All it does is remove that "objectionable" defense companies are using to censor anything they want.

Also, "Good faith" is now defined. "Should encourage platforms to be more transparent and accountable to their users, rather than hide behind blanket Section 230 protections.

Why is any of that bad?

I have read the proposals for reworking 230 and they look good.

>If the Establishment understood what the Internet was they never would have let us have it in the first place.

The democrats and tech companies are the establishment. That's why all the neo-cons from Bush and Obama are against Trump. That's why nearly every legacy media act as the democratic PR arm. That's why tech companies use their positions to frame any and all discussions to be favorable to democrats.

You got it might backwards who the establishment is and who wants to maintain control of the internet.

Like I said, there is probably more to it than what Trump is claiming. The point is that both sides are able to have watchers at the poll stations. There is a satellite polling station that register voters, request mail-in ballots, vote, and return mail in ballots. They denied Trumps poll watchers saying everything is above board. Was it? I don't know and I bet you don't either. If a lawsuit is filed and Trump is found to be in the right, will you accept it?

Again, your characterization and strawman. There is a big difference between "taking months" to be certified as a poll watcher vs standing armed at the poll station.

That is your characterization and strawman. Poll monitors include people from both sides of the election as well as independent monitors. From what I understand, he is complaining about his monitors being denied. Denying poll watchers of either side is bad. That is very different than denying bullying and suppression at the polls. Like I said, there is probably more to it than that as Trump likes to embellish but let's not burn strawmen, they have feelings too. From what I understand, his campaign may be filing a lawsuit. Then we will know for certain if any impropriety occurred.

Those statements were made at different times under different contexts. You combining them to make it sound like he said "stand by at the poll stations" is the same embellishment Trump uses. You can do better than that.

Poll monitors are bad now? Even before the debate he was mentioning his poll watchers being denied. There is probably more to the story but part of an open election is that both sides can watch with independent monitors to ensure no shenanigans. There is probably more to it than just "go act like Black Panthers at the poll stations".

As far as the proud boys, are they really white supremacists? If so why does an afro-cuban head the organization? They officially deny being white supremacy.

I am hard pressed to understand why any white supremacists group would be lead by an afro-cuban. But then again, Richard Spencer is backing Biden. so.
