Comment Utopia? Forget it (Score 1) 201

It'll be so moderated, no one will be able to employ basic freedoms that are enjoyed by most countries.

Or it will be so commercialized it'll be devoid of independent or small time devs trying to make a buck or express themselves.

Bixby got flushed and disabled as far as I could do in services, Told Pay to go peddle on the corner with the rest of the rabble, And Push got muted and isolated from all the other apps, it's powerless now. I've yet to get a single push ad regarding 10 or anything else since I did all that.

Not racist at all. I simply discriminate against opportunistic thieves and scammers. It may sound indiscriminate, but this case with their own country's government in shambles, unable to enforce their own laws for a variety of reasons, including corruption and embezzlement, isolating them from the rest of the world to inspire their country to take action is a logical step.

But If you wish to label me, it's safe to say you could say I am an "equal opportunity asshole".

Comment It was how the computer's task management was set (Score 1) 171

The AGC/LMGC was structured where it was tasking programs on a priority basis. When the checklist error causing both the radars, the descent and rendezvous, were operating, and Neil rolled EAGLE to check height overloaded the AGC, the software started to shed lower priority tasks and resetted continually to prevent lockup and flagged the error as the 1201/1202 overload. EECOM and the backroom had experienced this fault during exercises earlier in the month and aborted the landing based on those errors. That was a bad decision since it was a non-fatal, non-emergency problem. Jack Garman and the AGC team recognized the same error and made The Call to GO for powered descent and The Landing.
