They're bluetooth. Android has supported this for years. Is there something special about the Joycon that makes it not work with standard drivers? Is iOS just now getting support for bluetooth controllers?
I can't answer your first question but, for the second, iOS 13 (released September 2019) was the first to support bluetooth game controllers.
You honestly expect people to replace a $2 outlet with an USB equipped one at $30? It's cheaper, more convenient and probably safer to stick with a usb wall wart.
The OP picked a pretty expensive one as an example. Twin switched sockets without any USB sockets are going for about £4 on Amazon, whereas those with USB-A go for about £15 - meaning that the premium is 3.75x.
As USB-C becomes more ubiquitous, I'd expect twin switched USB-C sockets to eventually get down to the same price as the USB-A ones today. At that point a 3.75x premium doesn't seem too bad to get 2 USB-C sockets and 2 free plug sockets vs 1 free plug socket with the other permanently taken up by a wall wart.
Can't speak for everyone but I work with a lot of teams spread across the globe. As such, a widget that shows clocks for the 6 key office locations would be extremely useful.
The best I can currently do is have three different times displayed when I hover my mouse over the time in the system tray.

I believe that this was caused by overuse of arterial blood gas analysis to determine blood oxygen level. When people have abnormally high white blood cell counts (as is often the case with COVID), if it takes too long to process the samples and you don't adequately cool the blood samples, the WBCs can consume all the oxygen in the blood. The medical term for this is pseudohypoxemia.
Ehm? Blood oxygen is usually not measured by sending blood samples to the lab, but rather with a real-time non-invasive pulse oximeter, as started by the paper that you cite.

If I understand correctly, PFOA (which is a PFCA) has been banned in the EU since 2015 or so.
The teflon itself (PTFE) is not the problem, but apparently they needed PFOA to make the teflon stock to the metal. I wonder whether teflon pans are now or teflon or there is another unpleasant compound that replaces PFOA.

I wonder how the E in P/E is calculated for a company like Netflix. Earnings are the net increase in assets over a year. When a large part of the assets is intellectual property - their own productions - then you have to estimate the value. Doesn't seem straightforward to me.

On a grid with a large amount of renewable energy and decent long distance interconnects, most of the time it's just a question of moving energy around.
Decent long distance interconnects are not going to solve the day/night and seasonal cycles for solar. They might help for wind energy though.
I thought it was cynical but on-brand for CNN+ to launch during a war, considering the cable channel made its bones during Desert Shield, with Wolf Blitzer broadcasting from Baghdad during an air strike.
Really, though: they were two years too late. People were thirsty for news about COVID. Now, if you want to see how a war is going, there's TikTok, Twitter, etc., where you can see the videos CNN will loop two days later, without the blurred-out corpses.
Then again, if they really wanted to make money, they'd broadcast executions on HLN.

Adhesive-backed hook-and-loop tape is an excellent attachment method in typical conditions where Russia operates these drones. In hotter environments I'd imagine they'd need to strap the cameras down because the PSA can run or separate, but this is not an issue in Russia or Ukraine for certain.
What kind of climate for you have in mind as problematic for duct tape? Russia spans latitudes down to 42N and has a continental climate. Record temperature is 45 C (113 F). Those drones might be stored in dark army trucks that are baking in the sun for hours.

With faces generated by GANstyle it's fairly easy to recognize fakes, for the time being.
* Blurry or crazy background. Sometimes weird blobs. Never anything recognizable.
* Fabrics of clothing undefined.
* Mismatched earrings, mismatched left/right eyeglasses. Occasionally mismatched ears. Weird hairstyle around the ears. Sometimes mismatched eye colors.
The faces themselves are very convincing, though.
