You are making the assertion that these gear-like structures are proof of a creator, so how do you differentiate between living structures that are created and living structures that evolved? These particular structures are proof? How so? How do you define complexity and what order of complexity is the threshold for what could have evolved and what you assert must have been created?

In order for this to be accepted as proof by anyone other than yourself and your cult, you need to provide detail and methodology that can be used to complete testable research. Until then, it's nothing more than your assertion that somehow you are capable of looking at morphological structures and making the determination as to what had to be created by the finger of god and what is "too simple" to have required divine intervention.

Again, how do you tell the difference between a living structure that was designed and one that evolved?

First of all, "The GFP from A. victoria has a major excitation peak at a wavelength of 395 nm and a minor one at 475 nm." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_fluorescent_protein.
395 nm is near UV. Whenever we used unaltered GFP in the lab, we used UV lamps to excite it. You can use a blue light to excite the minor excitation peak, but then you really have to screw around with filters, especially if you want to photograph it. The blue light needs to be so bright that it overpowers the green fluorescence and makes it very difficult to see without filters. Unless there are specific reasons to avoid exposing your subject to UV, it's much easier to just use a black light.

Second of all, there are many, many forms of GFP available (so much so that GFP, which stands for Green Fluorescent Protein, isn't a very accurate name anymore). Some of them have excitation peaks in the UV range, others within visible light. You can custom order GFP based on the excitation and emission spectra that you would like to use for your experiment. Saying that it only fluoresces under *blue* light is a blanket statement that is entirely inaccurate.

There is no "final confirmation" in science... assumptions can not made as long as evidence for or against a hypothesis can be gathered. While there certainly is a large 'pool' of data (sorry, couldn't resist) that water once flowed on Mars, we're still a ways off from knowing that with absolute certainty. That's the main difference between science and religion.

Bitcoin Currency Surpasses 20 National Currencies In Total Value 583

Velcroman1 writes "More than $1 billion worth of bitcoins now circulate on the web – an amount that exceeds the value of the entire currency stock of small countries like Liberia, Bhutan, and 18 other countries. Bitcoin is in high demand right now — each bitcoin currently sells for more than $90 U.S. — which bitcoin insiders say is because of world events that have shaken confidence in government-issued currencies. 'Because of what's going on in Cyprus and Europe, people are trying to pull their money out of banks there,' said Tony Gallippi, the CEO BitPay.com, which enables businesses to easily accept bitcoins as payment. 'So they buy gold, they put it under the mattress, or they buy bitcoin,' Gallippi said."

I'll meet your (unbelievable) anecdote with an anecdote of my own:

I lived with a close friend and his father for about 5 months back in the 90's and I literally never saw the dad eat a meal or drink water. I'd estimate 90% of his calories came from beer and the rest from whisky or the occasional glass of wine. Both the father and I were jobless at the time and we shared the apartment together for the entire day, so it wasn't like he was grabbing lunch at the office.

I talked to my friend about it and he said that's just the way his dad is. He couldn't even remember the last time his dad actually ate food.

He probably had some sever deficiencies and I have no idea what his internal organs looked like, but just looking at him you'd guess he was the epitome of health... about 130lbs and could run up the 4 flights of stairs without losing his breath. So, I'm going to go ahead and call bullshit on your particular theory.
