The odds of an impact at that time are incredibly low — in fact, the chance it will glide safely past us is 99.99998%! But that hasn't stopped some venues from playing up the apocalypse angle.

A 1 in 5,000,000 chance of this asteroid hitting is super high compared to the 1 in 175,223,510 odds of winning the grand prize in the Powerball lottery, yet tons of idiots still line up to play.

Shit like this is becoming more and more frequent, consoles are shipped missing key features with updates promised.
If it's not right, don't ship it. If it's not ready, don't ship it.
A company I used to work for lived by these words, if only the rest of the world did. (and if only they did too, they kinda don't anymore)

I've been playing this game here and there since I saw their booth at AX...2...3 years ago? I can't remember.
It's an interesting game, and it is fun for a while, but the biggest problem is that there's not much to do.
The world is fun to explore, especially when equipped with jetpack/boots/whatever, but there's only so much of it.
Beyond that, it quickly becomes a grind, and as such quickly gets boring.
They introduced a good deal of dynamic events and such to try to keep it interesting, but they don't change much.
The end/world boss seems interesting, but every time I've attempted it the game lags so bad, seemingly due to the lack of optimization on the server end to deal with so many players in a compact space. I usually die long before I know what even hit me.

TL;DR: It's a good way to kill a little bit of time if you're bored, but if you're looking for a serious game to sink your teeth into, look elsewhere.

I use paypal daily, but only because the transactions I make through it are small and meaningless.
The second I do something like this where I have a large amount in there, I'm switching to another service.
I've been hearing horror stories like this since they froze the Paypal account of the dude who made minecraft.

CAPTCHA may be popular with with webmasters and others running different sites, but it's a source of annoyance to blind and partially sighted people — and dyslexic people and older ones — who often end up being locked out of important websites as they can't read wonky, obfuscated letters

CAPTCHAs tend to have an audio button where a string of numbers is read off to you.
Even Slashdot has a "mp3" button that reads the letters on the CAPTCHA off to you.
Doesn't that already help all the above people with issues listed here?
(Except possibly the "older ones", who may have hearing issues too.)
