And when I move that camera to my iOptron mount it takes incredible photos of Orion, Andromeda, and the Pinwheel Galaxy. I'll try more. I guess Samsung thinks everyone else prefers AI photos. Not me.

If it's a real problem people should just learn how to manage a firewall. My Ubiquiti Unifi Secure gateway blacklists the entire world. I whitelist what I deem safe and I limit the hop count to prevent access from crafty script kiddies that took over computers with a chatbot virus. Granted this is not foolproof but it mitigates the possibility of an attack. The most common attack vector is through email. You need to be vigilant. I have Thunderbird configured to view mail headers all the time.

No need for Proxmox. Linux KVM and libvirt is very stable. You can easily stuff a server with GPU/APU card and pass access to your virtual machines hosted on the physical machine where the GPU/APU cards are. It works very well. I don't pay for Prime. I just take advantage of the Free Prime for a week deals, buy some stuff over the week, and then cancel. Most of the shows on Amazon Prime are lame anyway. The decent stuff was canceled. No more "The Expanse". No more Jack Ryan. I wouldn't mind watch the good shows they get now and then with commercials. Jack Ryan is good. Top Gear specials are great. Clarkson's Farm was really good. They need more shows like that. "The Expanse" is based on the 9 novel series "The Expanse" and was cut off at Volume #3 "Abaddon's Gate". It's a cool sci-fi.

I was thinking about switching my phone to a pinephone and keeping the old smartphone without service to use with my drones. You can't fly the Autel Evo, 3DR Solo, Parrot Bebop 2, or Fimi x8 mini FPV without a smartphone or tablet device. It doesn't require to be connected to the internet, just a connection to the drone controller. The data is not sent to the drone over wifi... it just uses the phone for some of the control inputs and the video stream.

Where I live the climate can be pretty harsh. In Massachusetts when they retired Pilgrim Nuclear and 3 Large coal burning power plants they rolled out solar and windmills to generate power instead of standing up large LPG fired power plants. Our weather is harsh. During the Fall, Winter, and early Spring months there's not enough sunshine to depend on Solar. During the winter the windmill farms freeze up from the cold wind and ocean mist. When you drive down 195 east towards the Route 25 /495 split you will notice there are many windmills with the brakes on. Not all of them are spinning generating energy because the windmill transmissions fail in our climate. We never experienced brownouts until now. I know it's brownouts because my APC UPS should display at least 124v most of the time. When the lights dim here I notice the APC UPS drops to 104v. I say we still need fossil fuels. My next vehicle would be a plug-in hybrid, not an EV.

We should all band together and Boycott Rockstar games and cease to buy goods from England. The punishment of this kid does not fit the crime. It's time for all of us Open Source hobbyists to write Enterprise style management tools for VirtualBox and LibVirt. Have any of you tried VirtManager on Linux ? It's not too shabby. With both the LibVirt and VirtualBox environments I was able to share Physical PCIE GPU and PCIE Communication cards with dedicated virtual machines. Performance is fine. Also, some of us will find that we don't need to virtualize and can live with Containers. It's time to adapt and hit Broadcom in the wallet.

Note to self, next time buy a non-Smart TV. My Firestick TV also has a 5 second delay with some videos. I am looking for an alternative to YouTube. Google has been getting greedy... I get more adds with YouTube than conventional Television.

It displaces Radiologists. They started to displace them 10 years ago by outsourcing radiology analysis to India. Now AI is being used by less competent junior techs using a radiology AI app. It's creeping into many roles. Even in IT.
