The difference lies in the fact that the deaths of communism were seen as a failure of that system, while those of Nazism are a resounding success in the mindset of those that hold that ideology. Of course, I myself am a capitalist, as for whatever failures we have in the system, that is what we have government for, to make up for the shortfalls inherent in any system, not that it works perfectly either, but it is the best we have.

It's funny that you advocate that someone read a book when it's likely you've never read one on the subject. The socialist wing of the Nazi party was murdered in an event known as Night of the Long Knives. Hitler was decidedly anti-communist/marxist. That being that case, modern Nazis are more of a third position, which is now its own political ideology of the same name. The idea that everything you hate is left/right-wing is a child's idea of politics, which is ironic, given how many boomers espouse such idiocy.

My family is more important than my work, but a woman you marry is never going to be part of it. I know, because I made that mistake already. I'm saddened by it too, but you can blame the women, who file 90% of all divorces. I might get married again, but I've gone from trust to "trust but verify". A woman that truly loves you shouldn't give a shit about a prenup.

At the risk of nitpicking, wouldn't that mean only those that explicitly fall outside the xx/xy categories are allowed to use different genders? I've never thought that someone being trans required biological justification, precisely because most trans individuals are either xx or xy, not any exception to this norm. Really, this is about keeping people sane, and if calling treating a trans person like he/she wants to be treated helps, then we should do that.

The relationship between and employee and employer is fundamentally adversarial. If you don't understand this, it's because you haven't paid attention. No employer pays you just because they're kind. They pay you because it's the least they can pay for the work you do, and the employer will always try to get more out of you than they put in. The same is true for workers. They will always try to get a better wage from you for the least amount of work. I've been on both sides, and the fact of the matter is that only Americans think unions somehow screw them over because they imagine, or have been told, that their relationship with the company is one of cooperation.

Yeah, back when I first started on the internet, it was well understood that you didn't post personal info or let kids wonder by themselves on it. It seems now we are on the reverse, where everyone posts everything on the internet, and parents expect the internet to raise their kids for them.
